a must visit in anchorage. you haven't visited anchorage until you've been to humpy's. all of their food is amazing and their beer selection is intense. this is a perfect place for lunch but can get pretty crowded in the evening. it is not an intimate place to dine but an experience you will enjoy.

i had the halibut and chips, sub out the chips with a salid. that was good, but i needed something more. had the peal and eat shrimp. that did it. both were good. had ice tea. got the bill... $32.22 a bit pricey. add the tip.. $37.22 and i didn't even have a beer, (i had to fly, pilot) ;)

hands down my favorite downtown bar. above average pub/bar food. an exceptional beer selection. often with quality live music. friendly and efficient staff - something not taken for granted anywhere in alaska. travel books will talk up the halibut tacos - for good reason!

so many beers, not enough time, and food. we go for the food, often better than other ethnic places, for the chefs are creative. last went to octoberfest, it was 7 beers and 5 courses of food, food was just ok that night, beers excellent.

typical brand of anchorage. call it humpy's big wild bar and you have a name that accurately sells the idea of this downtown sono (sono what a joke!) locale. just step right in for average food, at exceptional touristy prices. add a granola bar and you got an anchorage yuppie hangout.

don't get me wrong the food is pretty good for a bar. however the place is packed with fake outdoorsy types. if thats your crowd then this is the place for you. if you don't shop at rei then you may want to avoid.

what's not to like?. humpy's has been one of the all time best additions to downtown anchorage. the location is perfect. the food is perfect. and the beer is always cold. love humpy's!

one of my favorite spots in anchorage to grab an incredible meal or just hot wing appetizers. the bar is amazing and there's always some band playing to make it even more fun.

good stuff!. visiting from out town, did some looking around and picked humpy's. great value and great food. i would highly recommend it and will not only come back but will send others. i am a food snob and this scored a solid 8 out of 10. considering there is no such thing as a 10 thats pretty good.
great location downtown, cool decor, nice selection of beers and big menu with lots of variety. service was better than expected for a brewhouse, food was served prompt fast and hot.
the plank salmon was tender, flavorful and a good portion, came with mixed veggies that were fresh and very flavorful. i added the half pound of king crab. crab was cooked great. easy to crack and no fighting to get the meat out.
