i love this place! kind staff, clean restaurant, and amazing food. i have tried thetacosand burritos and have never been disappointed. i haven't been back to big truck since i found a gem in hugo's...their menu isn't as large but the food is amazing at 1/3-1/2 the price.

these guys are the best. thetacosare delicious in their beautiful simplicity and incredibly priced. you can get 3 tacos, rice and beans for around 5 beanie sigels. the employees are mostly sweet, beautiful, latina babies. and they have taco tuesdays. dollar tacos. one of my favorite spots in okc.

outstanding streettacosand the best rice we've found in okc. with a bottle of true mexican coca cola hugo's is a must try. menudo on weekends but menudo is something most anglos never try. give it a try it's an amazingly flavorful soup.

wife (from mexico) and i have been searching for some good, real mexican food.... besttacosi've had in okc, hand made tortillas and great tasting food, hands down best authentic mexican food we've had!

holy taco. i ordered one of every meat option, even the special with bacon. yes, for your pleasure i alone tried every meat taco that they had to offer....

holy cow, apparently my home state has done a great disservice totacosas well as the whole culture, because this was amazing!!!!!!! you could taste each and every meat offering, on top of the toppings and salsas.
super friendly staff, which will absolutely bring me back over and over again.

please give this place a try, if you want traditional tacos. no frills. just taste.

very...mexican. the place was full of mexican laborers when i arrived. don't come here looking for atmosphere, you get picnic tables, no decor, and hand drawn signs. the cashier does know english, but the cooks don't, so when they call out your number you should know the 01-99 numbers in spanish.
the food was pretty good, and inexpensive. the specials are around five dollars but the drinks are a bit inflated in price as most restaurants do. a bottle of jarritos will cost you double of what you pay in the supermarket. they do have horchata, piña (pineapple) and usually jamaica (hibiscus) beverages as well. there's limited amount of hot sauces available, tomatillo and some really hot sauce that tastes a lot like bottled valentina but you can tell its fresh made, and plenty of chopped onions, and radishes (?)
mytacoswere decent, but didn't have enough cilanto. overall its good enough to go back but it doesn't hit it out of the park, flavorwise.

the best quesadilla!. i love the steak quesadilla! thetacosare good as well as everything else but the the quesadilla's are the best! i didn't care for the chicken in the tacos, they aren't bad it's just everything else is soooo much better, the chicken doesn't compare very well. the juicer the meat the better the favor! try the all of the meat choices, but my favorites are steak and pork!

hugo's is the best!. my husband and i took a chance on the little shop that opened across the street from our neighborhood. we're so glad we did! the food is amazing and very reasonably priced. i keep saying i want to try something new but i keep going back to the beeftacos(on corn tortillas) every time, they're to die for! we will be customers for life!

great spot for cheap, authentictacosand big bottles of soda!. this place serves some of the best and cheapesttacosyou can find in the metro. you have to try the "lengua" or tongue tacos! they're to die for. the salsa bar is always filled and oh so fresh! also, you should try the liters of bottled sodas they have imported straight from mexico. they're delicious and so refreshing. they have a special every tuesday where alltacosare $1.

i never regret a trip to hugo's. my husband and i have tried most of the menu items, but the classictacosand burritos are what we return for time and time again. all the meats are delicious, but the cochinita pibil and the chorizo stand out in my mind as the best.

tremendous. tasty, real, quick, and cheap--as in $1tacoson tuesdays. come here instead of iguana's constantly crowded, miserably served, tiny-taco dollar tuesday and i guarantee you'll have much better food at far lower stress levels. sure, there's no liquor or beer, but you can take the money you didn't spend on those at iguana and go out afterwards, right?

and compared to big truck? bland, overpriced big truck? do i even need to start?

this restaurant is way too close to my neighborhood for my own good...i would seriously eat here everyday. thetacosare super but the burritos make my knees weak....so so darn good. the people that run it are so great and make super recommendations...if you are a first time patron or have gone there often...don't be afraid to ask questions! you will be so glad you did! love it!

cali style burritos!. thetacosare tasty, the staff is friendly, the prices are very reasonable, but the burritos are definitely the star! i've never had a burrito this good outside of california! they're huge, as the should be. filled with your choice of authentically cooked meats, rise, beans, and pico!
why anyone would rather pay twice as much for mediocre gringo styletacosat big truck is beyond me! avoid btt and drive a little further west for better food, service, and price at hugo's!
