real tacos!. it's nice to know that there is a real taco place on the north side of town. i used to travel to mexico quite a bit and so believe me when i say this is about as real as it gets. the place and the food is not fancy at all and unlike big truck with its rude, uppity staff and owners, it has no pretentions.hugo'sis a simple place with nice people serving good, cheap food. i recommend the carne asada and the cochinita tacos. delish!

no good.. this place isn't that great at all. if you want real comida mexicana, drive down to paco's on the south side.hugo'sis gross, their meats sit in grease and taste like crap. this place is joke.

outstanding street tacos and the best rice we've found in okc. with a bottle of true mexican coca colahugo'sis a must try. menudo on weekends but menudo is something most anglos never try. give it a try it's an amazingly flavorful soup.

i usually get the daily special - $5.00 for 3 tacos, pinto beans and rice but this time decided to try the beef quesadilla for $5.15. it was so good! it put ted's flat wimpy quesadilla to shame and its half the price. i will definitely get it again. i will probably try chicken next time. yum. i'm craving it now and can't wait to go back!!! the food is always hot and fresh. try it! it's great food that won't bust your wallet.

we triedhugo'sfor the first time over the weekend. we liked it. very simple. we had steak tacos, rice and beans and a bottle of mexican coke. the beans weren't refried beans but just pinto beans, nothing special but still pretty good. there was quite a bit of meat served on the tacos, which had 2 corn tortillas each. they were served topped with finely chopped cilantro and onions and lime wedges and 2 kinds of hot sauces were available. we will definitely go back. i'm not so sure it's a good thing that we live so close because i can see this could become a habit. i'm anxious to try some of the other items!

autentica!. imagine the taco/burrito truck experience....indoors!hugo'sis exactly that, without the truck. the interior is spacious, clean and minimal with a handful of picnic tables (just like the outdoor truck experience). the ladies that receive and prepare your orders are quick and professional. the menu is simple and similar to taco san pedro, although more limited. choose your method of taco, burrito, torta, gordita, mulita, etc. then choose your protein of chicken, beef, bbq, cheek meat, menudo, etc. simple and delicious. they also stock a respectable selection of mexicano sodas: coca cola, jarritos, barillos, fresca, sangria and a new one to me manzana lift apple flavored soda in 1/2 liter bottle. viva hugo!

this was our first time tohugo'sand my wife and i both ordered the asada burritos. we both thought they were delicious! the meat was very tender and moist and had a great flavor. they are very large with a generous amount of meat, beans and rice. i tried the salsa verde on half my burrito and the salsa roja on the other and both were very good! the prices are low, making for a satisfying meal that i considered to be a great value! i can't wait to go back and try some tacos! i live just across the street fromhugo'sand i think i'm gonna be eating there a lot! thanks hugo's!

simple, quick and wholesome. clean, barebones seating. don't expect fancy -- not here. just good quality, freshly prepared, simple mexican family fare. nothing more, nothing less.

i'm especially fond of their pollo mexicano, and love it in a burrito with rice, borrachos refritos and avocado.

their menudo is a tad "green and grassy" for me -- i prefer the blander variety. (they serve menudo on the weekends only, of course.)

i have never been inhugo'sthat i wasn't greeted with a smile. very friendly service.
