strong breakfast burrito game here. nice to have the options of what you want to put on the burrito. the asada hadgreatflavor, as did the pork.

no good.. this place isn't thatgreatat all. if you want real comida mexicana, drive down to paco's on the south side. hugo's is gross, their meats sit in grease and taste like crap. this place is joke.

wife (from mexico) and i have been searching for some good, real mexican food.... best tacos i've had in okc, hand made tortillas andgreattasting food, hands down best authentic mexican food we've had!

holy taco. i ordered one of every meat option, even the special with bacon. yes, for your pleasure i alone tried every meat taco that they had to offer....

holy cow, apparently my home state has done agreatdisservice to tacos as well as the whole culture, because this was amazing!!!!!!! you could taste each and every meat offering, on top of the toppings and salsas.
super friendly staff, which will absolutely bring me back over and over again.

please give this place a try, if you want traditional tacos. no frills. just taste.

i usually get the daily special - $5.00 for 3 tacos, pinto beans and rice but this time decided to try the beef quesadilla for $5.15. it was so good! it put ted's flat wimpy quesadilla to shame and its half the price. i will definitely get it again. i will probably try chicken next time. yum. i'm craving it now and can't wait to go back!!! the food is always hot and fresh. try it! it'sgreatfood that won't bust your wallet.

we tried hugo's for the first time over the weekend. we liked it. very simple. we had steak tacos, rice and beans and a bottle of mexican coke. the beans weren't refried beans but just pinto beans, nothing special but still pretty good. there was quite a bit of meat served on the tacos, which had 2 corn tortillas each. they were served topped with finely chopped cilantro and onions and lime wedges and 2 kinds of hot sauces were available. we will definitely go back. i'm not so sure it's a good thing that we live so close because i can see this could become a habit. i'm anxious to try some of the other items!

this restaurant is way too close to my neighborhood for my own good...i would seriously eat here everyday. the tacos are super but the burritos make my knees weak....so so darn good. the people that run it are sogreatand make super recommendations...if you are a first time patron or have gone there often...don't be afraid to ask questions! you will be so glad you did! love it!

great food, friendly faces. was recomended hugos by a co-worker. we took a group of 10 there for our first time (all of our first time actually). so it was make it or break it for all of us with a group this large. your experience starts when you walk in the door. i knew it was different from the bare bones decor unlike all the other "mexican" restaurants around that try to prove how authentic they are with loud music and festive decoration. hugos is far from that. about 5 large picnic style tables, plain colored paint, ordering station and the kitchen. the menu is simple, taco, burrito or quesodilla... but the meat sellection is incredible, to much for me to recal to put on here.

you place your order with the smiling cashier and wait a very short time for your order while it is prepared. your number is called and then the dinning begins. they have 3 salsas to choose from all of which are great. they each have a nice spice to them, but not so much so that it takes away from the food.

on our first visit every single person was impressed. in a group that large it is rare to have everyone say positive things and not even one neutral review. we have been back 3 times now in the last 2 weeks and will continue to return as long as they keep up thegreatwork!

this was our first time to hugo's and my wife and i both ordered the asada burritos. we both thought they were delicious! the meat was very tender and moist and had agreatflavor. they are very large with a generous amount of meat, beans and rice. i tried the salsa verde on half my burrito and the salsa roja on the other and both were very good! the prices are low, making for a satisfying meal that i considered to be agreatvalue! i can't wait to go back and try some tacos! i live just across the street from hugo's and i think i'm gonna be eating there a lot! thanks hugo's!

good portions,greatprice. good selection of meats for tacos/burritos. had the carne asada burrito, lots of rice and beans, huge! try the cochininta (sp?) taco - shredded pork in a red sauce. nice open seating area. you can see the food fixed while you wait, always a plus. some of the best horchata i've had. condiments in a self serve area - limes, extra onions/cilantro, red and green sauce. super friendly, gave us a free taco when they learned it was our first visit.
