a great place to bask in for pure authentic assamese cuisine. great interiors, with cane and bamboo furniture which is my personal favorite. i love the wall hangings pretty much. it's all about our incredible assam. coming to the food, the menu is laden with all assamese dishes. vegetarian dishes are also offered, so, no worries for my vegetarian friends! the pork dish is quite relishing, may be that's because i love pork in any way or the other! however, the fishcurrydidn't quite impress me. it had that typical scent of those old dead fish. so that was a disappointment. nevertheless, the traditional brass ware really gave me a pleasure of being a "khati oxomiya". prices, i felt is a bit expensive.
overall, i loved the ambiance and my mother liked it so i recommend you to take your parents for a dinner date and i'm sure they will definitely like it.

went there for traditional assamese food and was not disappointed at all. the variety in the menu excites one while ordering. i had the pigeoncurrywhich was very tender and for starters i had barbeque pork which although was tough was very well seasoned.

this is one of the best place to indulge pure authentic assamese cuisine. i was very much satisfied with the quality and the taste. me and friend ordered for fish thali and pigeon curry. the pigeoncurrywas amazing :) i would really recommend this place to everyone who visits guwahati . beautiful ambience and good service. would definitely visit whenever i m in guwahati .

visited this place during peak lunch service hours. every single thing was served cold. from the dal and rice to the mutton curry, nothing was even lukewarm. no effort to even heat it up before serving to a customer. secondly, service here is poor. took them 20 mins to give us water and a menu. third, the ambience is very dim and gloomy. for a restaurant owned by a popular chef representing assam everywhere, not up to standard.

the only reason the place gets 3 stars is because the muttoncurrywas good. everything else was below average.

pork size is too small ,porkcurryis okay but there was less money to eat

ordered chicken thali and they sent me pork and chicken mixedcurrythali . totally unprofessional . they have to maintain the order suggestions.

quantities were less and the chickencurrywas not good in taste.

i received only rice ,aloo pirika ,dal, sabji & chicken. there is no chickencurryfor me. i can't eat the rice & through the whole portion. i am permanent customer of heritage khorika. why they have done this with me today.

i asked you to provide me local chickencurrybut you have sent broiler. horrible

ordered chickencurrytwice during my home quarantine days (covid positive), second week of may ,2021. first day it was ok for which i ordered it for the second day too, and to my surprise and disgust, chicken pieces has blood on it. didn’t had the strength to take a picture then, god saved them. i would have taken them to the court or else.
owners please suck the chicken blood next time you have the audacity to do so.

this place is nothing compared to the khorika, ulubari one. the ambience was too dark and no ac was running inside in this hot weather. the washrooms were so dirty and the constant banging of dishes in the washing area was so annoying. the service was too slow in giving us the menu and in serving the order. coming over to the food part, it wasn't upto the mark at all. the veg thali was the usual one but i had a problem with the chicken curry. i ordered for local chickencurrywith potato but somewhere i felt that i was cheated with some broiler pieces in it. the hilsa fish wasn't fresh either, was a bit hard inside...maybe it was a frozen one. totally disappointed with the food.

the place is crowded we ordered chickencurryand veg thali ..but the food served to us was not hot after complaining staff replied since it's our closing time we can't help you out...

heritage khorikaa is situated in silpukhuri area, behind goswami service petrol pump. it is one of the few restaurants serving traditional styled assamese cusine. it's a good place to have a healthy and wholesome assamese meal.
this place is strictly for people who likes to eat... rice and non veg items( fish, chicken, duck, mutton, pork & pigeon)....people seeking vegetarian items or dal/roti and paneer or people who wants to have snacks, should avoid this place!

food- the menu in zomato is quite old, they have revised the prices.
veg thali is ₹120+ gst. veg thali comprises of rice, dal, sabji, aloo pitika, etc. it's quite average, but u can have it refilled again and again....but, it might be a better option to order ala-carte.
duckcurryis awesome in this place.
muttoncurryis also very tasty...it's worth a try.
they have various fish curries and fries and steamed fishes...which are a part of assamese cusine. they are well cooked and good.
ambience- its decent, beautiful pictures of assam and northeastern states have been portrayed in the walls.
i found the lighting to be little dim...they could have used little more ambient lighting.
service- service is little slow, it takes around 20-30mins on average to get your food. staffs are average. nothing much to comment on.

overall, heritage khorikaa is a good place to have a meal with friends and family if you are feeling lazy to cook at home...and still want to eat home styled assamese food.
it's strictly not a place for snacks or quick bite.

food: ordered veg thali, with pigeon meatcurryand chicken bbq....
the veg thali lacked some main assamese dishes and the taste was not upto the mark...
the pigeon meat was well cooked and tasty but it was too oily....oil was occupying half of thecurrybowl...😑
the chicken bbq (khorika) lacked some spices and it was average too...

service: quick service with a friendly staff.

we went here on our trip to guwahati while looking out for authentic assamese cuisine. the ambience is very nice. the staffs were smiling and courteous. we ordered seasonal veg thali along with fishcurryin mustard and brinjal fry for 3 of us. whereas for remaining 3 of us we took steamed rice, pigeon meat fry, duck meat fry and chicken curry. each and every item was delicious and within the budget.
