take khorika restaurant, remove the crowd, brighten up the ambience, make the staff more friendly and enhance the service- you get heritage khorikaa. the bestassameseethnic restaurant right now. go for the duck dry fry and chicken with sesame. the smoked fish was also good. the interiors are just awesome.. just waiting for more chances of visiting this place..

a great place to bask in for pure authenticassamesecuisine. great interiors, with cane and bamboo furniture which is my personal favorite. i love the wall hangings pretty much. it's all about our incredible assam. coming to the food, the menu is laden with allassamesedishes. vegetarian dishes are also offered, so, no worries for my vegetarian friends! the pork dish is quite relishing, may be that's because i love pork in any way or the other! however, the fish curry didn't quite impress me. it had that typical scent of those old dead fish. so that was a disappointment. nevertheless, the traditional brass ware really gave me a pleasure of being a "khati oxomiya". prices, i felt is a bit expensive.
overall, i loved the ambiance and my mother liked it so i recommend you to take your parents for a dinner date and i'm sure they will definitely like it.

went there for traditionalassamesefood and was not disappointed at all. the variety in the menu excites one while ordering. i had the pigeon curry which was very tender and for starters i had barbeque pork which although was tough was very well seasoned.

this is one of the best place to indulge pure authenticassamesecuisine. i was very much satisfied with the quality and the taste. me and friend ordered for fish thali and pigeon curry. the pigeon curry was amazing :) i would really recommend this place to everyone who visits guwahati . beautiful ambience and good service. would definitely visit whenever i m in guwahati .

traditionalassamesecuisines at it's best can be said in this place. perfect place for perfect relaxation. perfect environment. from the behavior of the staff to the wall paintings. all are just much more than perfect. 5stars to this place. the only thing that's not right is the loved dish of theassamesepeople a.k.a "payokh". the taste is good but not the texture. but no worries, it can be improved❤

visited this place after considering thr high rating on zomato.. it turned put to be really mediocre... veg thali was very ordinary... pork on sesame seeds and duck wt bamboo... was yuck...!! bad quality... quantity... nothing was good abt thr food.... filled wt fat.. no flesh... coming from kolkata.. i wanted to try some goodassamesecuisine... bt was uttwrly dissapointed... do not go thr... if u want to taste... goodassamesefood.... rather do good analysis frm d locals bfre hand.... the decor was not bad.... but very suffocating and 3 of 4 air conditions wrnt wrkng...!! a total flop...

i visited guwahati and wanted to tryassamesecuisine. i'm not the one to judge theassamesefood, rather i'm trying it for the first time.

heritage khorikaa is a ethnic fine dine restaurant. the interior is decorated by bamboo and wood articles. i found it good place to go with family. the ambiance was serene.

i've ordered the veg thali, which is served in brass utensils. the food was simple, with very less spices. i loved the taste of each item i thali.

the service was quick, probably because i've ordered their most running item. the waiters were polite and alert to serve extra rice/dal and sweet at end. i found the restaurant best value for money and a must visit.

the lemon pieces served with meal is super big. initially i confused it with cucumber. check in pictures.

a very nice and cool place for having home-like meals. the place is easily visible from normal traffic. been to this place many times with friends and family. the ambience of the place is also good. coming to the food the place serves ethnicassamesewhich are very good in taste. i have tasted ari fish and veg thali.the service of the staff is also good.

full points for branding and explanation of the vision.
the experience was at par to kasturi's in kolkata if not lesser exciting.

the service comforting. we thought we would find something different from the bengali cusine, however the spread very similar to it.

the pictures set up on the walls and theassameseculture set the ambience very well. not to forget the copper utensils that the food is served in.

too long a wait for the menu and then 50 minutes for the food to be served. the mutton was so spicy that we had to return it. the worst experience withassamesefood. those whose moms or wives cook good food you will be frustrated with a visit to this over hyed restaurant

the place was recommended by a friend to dine theassamesethali and it surely did not disappoint. the decor and environment is simple and easy. had ordered the khorika thali. do note that there is only veg thali. the thali was simple, yet abundant. thali composed of locally available vegetables curry, daal and rice. most interesting dish was subji made of locally available grass. also had ordered a fish dish and chicken. both were superb. simple and elegant. tinge of flavor of mustard and sourness of bamboo. loved it. pics attached.

though i am writing the review i visited it some months ago.located in the almost centre of the city to satisfy the homely cravings of food lovers for authenticassamesecuisine.
staffs are quite cool and they serves food there with love.
we ordered two veg thalis with pork dry fry.good homely taste and yes when i craved for food prepared by my mum then i find these restaurant to fullfilled my cravings.
