heff's burgers

we are from lubbock and were in town for a soccer tournament. we got to heff's around 8 and came in the wrong door, apparently the restaurant part was already closed, but the staff was so nice and agreed to stay after to cook for us! their burgers were definitely the best we have had. we will come here again and again. the people were so welcoming too which made it even better!!

amazing!!!!!. i would choose heffs over any burger place in town!!! the food is great patties thick and.juicy!!! best burger for its price by far!!! i tried the new place blue sky and i.don't think for two.burgers and a drink.and fires is really worth 30,bucks!!!!

worst burger experience ever. my husband and i have tried heff's on rebecca on a couple of occasions. each time the burgers were burnt and very small compared to the bun and gooped with mayo (which we both asked for none of) and the fries and spiral chip things were very cold and tasted like old grease. if this had happened once i could probably overlook it and try again but we did that and the second experience was worse. both times the employees were very rude and were more interested in their cell phones and chatting amongst one another to help us or clean off a table. we ended up cleaning off our own table (the only table clean enough to eat on had mustard all over it and we had to request a rag--which was nasty--from one of the extra rude employees to clean it ourselves) and the floor was completely littered with chunks of food and paper towels and other things from previous customers. it is a place we will definitely never go again.

not a good experience. waited longer for our food than we did at miguels, and miguels just opened! not good service at all!

heffs has added two new menu items in a mushroom swiss burger with grilled onions and grilled mushrooms and we also have a hamburger steak with a hamburger patty topped with brown gravy grilled onions and mushrooms with a salad and your choice of fries y'all come try our new menu items

lucy's is too expensive and overpriced and you get more value for your money at heffs i recommend heffs over lucys

rover. im the rover at heffs burgers and let me tell you working there is awesome the best burgers in town and im not just saying that because i work there i used to eat there when it was in potosi and they still got they same good ole burgers that they did just a bigger location come and try a burger i gurantee you will like it

great burgers!. definitely one of the best burgers in town. must ask for the sour dough bun!

good burger and fries. this place is always packed so i decided to venture in by myself at 2 on a thursday for lunch. they were still packed. i was not in a rush. i think it took 20 minutes to get my burger and fries. i ordered the homemade sourdough bun and homestyle fries. it was good. i took my husband and our son and daughter in law on a saturday at 11:30, it was packed. i warned them it could be a while because the men are pretty impatient. it actually didn't take that long and they thought it was worth the wait. homemade patties that are moist and not greasy. my son and husband are big eaters and were glad they didn't get double meat. i think rick and carolyn's are in big trouble. it's also a nice touch that you can add your own cherry or vanilla syrup to your soda.

delicious. burger is really well seasoned and a really good size. may not be the cheapest burger you can find, but it is worth it and then some. out of any burger place i have been to in abilene, this is the best, and i doubt anywhere has a better burger.

this is my standard order. i prefer pepper jack cheese, and to ask for it to be cooked to medium.

i was on my lunch break and was craving an old fashioned burger. i stopped here at heff's thinking i'd give this little greasy spoon a shot. apparently so did everyone else because the place was packed. it took about 5 minutes in line, and 20 more to get my burger. i'm a patient fellow so the wait wasn't a problem for me. when i got the burger it was huge! the twisty fries were an excellent side. everything tasted great.

cheese burger with no cheese?!. i went into heff's today areound 1 they were not vusy at all yet stilll messed up my order. i ordered a cheese burger with pickles , mustered and cheese only. i got a burger with no cheese pickles and onions!!! i tried to call them but only got voicemail and no one would call me back. that was $8 down the drain, i will not be returning there, and the fries were burnt. dont eat there unless you want the wrong order, i can only imagen how bad they would mess it up if they were busy!!!

i figured i'd treat my husband to a decent meal. heff's delivered far better than i expected. i had the mushroom swiss burger on rye, with fries and a drink. i could actually taste the beef! plenty of mushrooms and swiss cheese were the icing on the cake. the fries were obviously freshly cut, and still had the skin on. even when i was feeling full, everything was so good that i did not want to stop eating. my husband was just as satisfied with his fries and double burger, and he finished all of it.

the bucket burger was awesome and the jalapeño bread was the best part. i wish we had a heff's burger in weatherford.

i had a pretty good burger but it was a bit of a longer wait than i thought necessary. must say, i really liked the bun that my burger came on and the fries were good.

not worth the money.. made another trip to heffs off of hwy 351.
had a heff burger with bacon,lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and mustard.
it came with one thin and i mean thin green tomato. small pcs lettuce and a dab of mustard.
the meat was very dry, combine that with the other and after a few bites i gave the meat to my dog! meat might work for a hb steak covered in gravy!
overall--not worth the money.
have given them 2 tries--that's it for me.

good. it's a good burger!! i prefer lucy's !
lucy's is a full service and heffs is order and self serve. if you don't mind tipping, get lucy's its better !
