heff's burgers

disappointed. it's sad that the first thing restaurants do to save money is get rid of the military discount.

amazing burgers. there are not many burger places in town, but this is one of my favorites. nice thick beef patties for a great price. good job heffs burgers.

co worker recommended. i found the recommendation to be accurate. the staff was friendly and helpful.
the burger was well seasoned and generously sized. i will recommend heff's burger to anyone. the malts are good as well. will definitely try to work in a meal

delicious!. i've come here a handful of times now and really enjoy it. the burgers here are delicious and juicy i usually get the plain bun with everything on it tomatoes, lettuce, mustard , mayo can't recall if they have onions i know a few times their wasn't any. even though i get the plain bun the jalapeno bun is better, i like the home fries here but always order the what they call twister fries i don't care if its really chips or fries or what they are good. my only complaint would be twice when ordering to go they gotten the whole order wrong and it sucks when your husband eats his burger plain and he gets it with mustard and tomatoes which he can't eat.
also may i suggest making a burger with cheese in the middle of the meat like a juicy lucy's i don't know why nobody has done this here with all the burger joints caring the jalapeno bun someone needs to create something that sets them apart.
the atmosphere here is like a 50's jukebox theme i wish they would do a better job of cleaning the tables i feel like the tables are always sticky and dirty. the carpet probably need to be replaced and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint.

well after coming to abilene for over 10 years we finally stopped here. i order the jalapeño cheese bread burger w/ pepper jack cheese & my hubby order a reg. hamburger w/ america cheese, plus ff & onion-rings. you service urself drinks our teas were not very good we got them un-sweet so im asumming it must b the water, we poured them out and got coke zero which we normanly dont drink. the food came, service was great. no cheese on hubby's burger our meat was over done, my bread was really sweet, i think it would have been better serviced with a breakfast style food. onionrings we're undercooked but burnt. i know sounds weird but ture. ff were great. all in all won't bother comming back. been there done that

over priced, over cooked and over greasy! lay off the salt too. if you're using that much salt then you're hiding the food for what it really is.

best burger in texas. i see people saying that heff''s a little pricey for a burger. but i am here to tell you they are worth every penny. they are fantastic. and as for my title, best burger in texas.... well i dare to say that they are the best burger i have ever had. and there service is as good as there burger. thanks guys!!!

yum.. this place is a little pricey, but it is sooo good. i only swing by this place when i'm by myself and take food to go, it costs a little more than we like to spend to feed my whole family. it is a nice indulgence every once in a while! i recommend the sourdough bun!

top notch!. spent a few days in abilene recently and the most memorable meal over three days was definitely heff's burgers! the 1/2lb patty was juicy and flavorful and the bun was soft and a little sweet. don't expect a long list of topping choices. it's "cheese or no cheese?" "mustard or mayo?" and, "do you want the vegetables? (lettuce, tomato, pickle). but, believe me, you'll be fine. it's a really good burger! they also offer a choice of sides, with kettle chips, tater tots, or beer battered onion rings, as well as a good selection of blue bell ice cream! if you're in abilene, give heff's burgers a try.

burgers are great!! i agree the fries r a little too greasy. it's not a comfortable dining environment due to very small and a lot of traffic in and out for carry out. would definitely eat the food again, just pick up next time.

the burger was fantastic, and i really enjoyed the jalepeno bun. the fries were rather greasy and not very good.
