never again. we had a party of 6 -- a "thank you" dinner for the couple who set up our myrtle beach vacation. our condo had given us a coupon -- buy 1 dinner and get 1 half price -- could be used on 4 dinners. and we told the waiter of the coupon when we sat down. he ripped it from my brother's hand and stormed away. the rest of the wait staff was very nice and very good...but the waiter, another story. my brother ordered a steak, which was tough. he sent it back and it came out rare (he ordered it medium well), waiter took it back and it came out again (waiter had a helper bring it out)...still not right, but my brother ate a little of it. we figured a steak house would know how to cook steak....guess we were wrong. all this..and the waiter added a 20% tip to our bill, when their policy is an automatic 20% for 8 or more. last time i go near that place.

food was very good, view was also very nice. i suggest sitting outside as long as the weather is nice. i had a steak, asked for it medium rare, it came out well done. i sent it back, and the second time was right. it was brought out by the manager. didn't offer anything for the issue, however i wasn't expecting anything. a little pricy. try and get a restaurant.com certificate.

our favorite place in myrtle...come every year and never dissapointed. i read some negative comments on here and my response is if you want outback prices go there, if you want 2000 calorie meals there are plenty of bad buffets here and the guy that said he spent $1000...not likely unless he had 10+ people....2 meals, 3 kids meals, 4 glasses of wine, tax, 20% tip came to $153. i've spent more elsewhere and didn't get near the quality.

our favorite place in myrtle beach...the stripwood steak is awesome, everything is really good. priced well for finer dining and family friendly...you must go!!!!

i've eaten here 3 times over the last few years. each time was excellent. the place is clean, the staff professional and the outside deck is great. it's worth the extra $$ to dine here.

never again. on july 4, 2011 i took my family to greg norman's australian gril. i should have gone to the outback steakhouse. the service was bad, the food ondercooked, the bill very high. my bill came to more than $1,000. i asked the waiter, since the food was bood, etc., maybe it was possible for 2 people to get a free after dinner drink. he had to ask the beverage manager, which responded negative. goof way to keep clients. what a service. never again.

dark restaurant. good friendly service but food was average at best. one in our party had a steak which was terrible. tough steak.

good food, odd atmosphere. short and sweet: i ordered the brisbane filet, and it was very good. i loved the seasoning and the steak was cooked just as i asked. however, the waiter did not ask me if i wanted any sides, and i did not know i had to specifically order them. so my steak arrived nice and lonely with no sides. odd.

the seats were very comfortable and the location is great - right on the inter-coastal waterway. however, the music being played was 90's-2000's top 40 music. my wife and i found this pretty odd. usually you can't find coldplay and rod stewart playing in the background of a nice steakhouse.

all in all, good experience and good food!

food and service is vry good. as others mentioned, dinner can be a little pricy, yet it is worth it, happy hour in the lavish bar is an experience, the whole place is really well laid out well and your eyes will roam.

i usually go there for lunch and show the myrtlebeachpromotions.com fundraising book and get 50% off the 2nd lunch, so far, this year i have eaten there with the discount 5 times, maybe 6, i will get this discount anytime during 2011.

overpriced. you can get much better food for a lot less in myrtle beach.
