this was by far our worst sushi experience in the city. go at your own risk! the first time we went, it was a busy lunch hour but the staff walked past us 4 times without even acknowledging us. when we got their attention they were extremely rude and we decided to leave.

a month or so later, we decided to return to see if it was just an off day and we came for dinner this time. this was a huge mistake because the $25.99 dinner price is a joke for the quality of food!

the staff is not attentive at all, but that's kind of par for the course at all you can eat sushi restaurants so i had no expectations.

weorderedthe usual amount that we get at other sushi places because we were starved. when the rolls arrived they were absolutely disgusting. it felt like chalk in the mouth and was literally garbage.

we told the staff that the quality was not good and we weren't going to eat it simply because of that and we didn't want to get charged extra. well, the waitress got the manager and she was the rudest person we've encountered. she argued that their policy is anything not eaten is charged extra and accused us of ordering too much. but this was simply not the case, we were both still hungry and shouldn't be forced to eat disgusting food that made us both sick.

in any normal restaurant, the customer is always right and they would offer to make something else. but for some reason they not only won't rectify the situation, they use it as an excuse to charge you more!!

i was appalled at their rudeness and said i'm leaving now but only paying the $25.99 x 2 meals and nothing more! the manager went from table to table asking other customers of their food was equally bad to prove that we were crazy. trust me i felt like just walking out, but unlike this establishment, i have standards that i hold to. i waited until she was done polling the restaurant and paid for my meal and left. never again will i return!

if you insist on trying this place, be warned to first try lunch and order a very tiny amount so you can taste the food first. if it's horrible, like our experience you're not out of pocket very much.

we used to eat here often. now it seems there are new owners/management and the service  and quality has fallen. this weekend was the ultimate bad experience. only 50% ofordereddihes appeared at the table and their quality was questionable. i don't believe we wil come back here.

iorderedfrom fusion kanata for delivery and received a call 30 minutes later saying that their driver is off today and if i wanted my order i would have to pick it up. i said i wanted a manager and after arguing with me the girl hung up. another girl called me back and said the "manager" said she could give me a discount. i asked to speak with the manager and she said that the manager was off today. i called her on her lie and she as well hung up on me. the actual manager called me. i said i wanted my order free because of the disrespect. the manager told me that it was her day off and the driver "called in sick" and that it is not her problem i don't get my order. she said she would give me a discount. i said i wanted the order free because of how rude everyone was to me. she said "not happening" and hung up on me as well.

you can honestly find better places to eat sushi in this city. we went here on a late sunday afternoon very recently, the floor was disgusting, i mean it wasn't busy and it was before the dinner rush and well after a lunch rush, so you would think it would be clean, the floors were covered with food from the previous sitting.

weordereda variety of food, some of us like sushi more than others. some of their non sushi items were decent, some extremely questionable. things like general tao chicken, chicken fried rice, spring rolls and such were not amazing nor poor; but some was certainly over cooked (too deep fried :/). as for the sushi, it was okay, definitely nothing spectacular or noteworthy. some of the rolls weren't even rolled properly and were falling apart as we picked them up. i left hungry and turned off of sushi. our ice cream was served with forks, it was frost bitten and you could tell old.

as for the staff, they weren't attentive at all, we went 10+ mins trying to get someone's attention.

unfortunately we had to get the dinner price which was so disappointing ... $34 for a terrible dinner.

without a doubt, fusion in stittsville was the worst service i've ever experienced.when we first arrived, the décor looked modern and the tables were packed.  this led me to believe it must be a popular location for sushi.  it took about 20 mins to get seated, which is understandable on a saturday during the lunch period of an all-you-can-eat-sushi spot.  no big deal.our order was promptly and silently picked up when we sat down, although we were never asked for drink orders.  since we were hungry, i thought little of it.  30 mins later, 2 of the 3 rolls and 3 of 6 sushi pieces arrived.  we still hadn't been offered drinks, or even wasabi and ginger for the rolls.  in fact, the servers seemed to go out-of-their-way to avoid eye contact and pretend they couldn't hear customers.30 mins after that, several dim sum items were brought to our table, which would've been great if we'd actuallyorderedit.  rather then feel bad about the customer who must be wondering where his order went, we ate it all to state our, by now, ravenous hunger.  i started to think our order must've been lost.  since no server could be bothered to give me an answer, i completed another form to reorder the missing items. by this time, most of the restaurant had cleared out, and servers continued to ignore us and any other customers trying to flag them down.  it took 20 mins for the order to be picked up, and 10 mins later 2 of the 9 itemsorderedarrived - both ice cream, and accompanied with ginger and wasabi.i know orders can arrive out of, well, order, but this is ridiculous.  i took the late arrival of wasabi and ginger as a sign the rest of the sushi must be on it's way. 30 mins later, still nothing had arrived.  i walked out at this point.i, nor any of my numerous and frequent sushi buddies, will ever use the services of this restaurant again.  the few rolls we got looked like something i could've rolled in my own kitchen, and the service was flat-out inexcusable.

food is ok service is awful!!. so we went during the lunch buffet which is a busy time i understand that. however weorderedseveral sushi rolls along with a few other chicken dishes. we got most of the chicken dishes and then waited for 20 minutes before any of the rolls came. then we waited for another 20 minutes and the rest did not seem to be coming at all. so weorderedmore and then waited another 30 minutes and still nothing came (either from the first or second order) so one of our party went to talk to the manager and the manager just told us that the rolls had all come out... so some other table got our orders?! because we know we didn't get them all. after talking to the manger we got two more plates rather quickly, however we know we didn't get all our orders. but we had to leave so we paid and left. i would never come back! and i caution anyone else going to be prepared to not get half your food and expect to be there a long time! i have been to several sushi resturants across the country and this is worst one by far!!

good food, horrible service. we waited for each of our orders well over 20 minutes - enough time to create an account and write this review. they couldn't/didn't bring what weorderedand it took forever. this was not worth the price.

nothing special. i've eaten here a few times for lunch due to the close proximity to work. overall the experience has been just okay. the sushi is okay but not great. the dim sum and other options are a better choice. the service is not great. we often have to ask for stuff we'veordereda second time and the servers seems distracted and uninterested. the price for lunch is a little high for what you get. the price for dinner is even less of a value and it gets even more expensive on weekends which just seems stupid. the recently opened thai express a couple of doors down has been the choice for lunch recently.

don't believe the reviews!!!. worst sushi i've ever had in my life, would not recommend to my worst enemies.
every roll i'veorderedtasted the same blandness as they were all overridden by 75% cucumber.
the dim sum is okay if you're used to eating frozen dim sum at home i suppose but stay away from the fried dumplings (specially deep fried pork dumpling )!
there was perhaps 2-3 tiny pork cubes around a 1 cm thick sweet, and pasty dough yuck.
my favorite dish i'veorderedwas the steam edamame's as it's hard that up screw that up (steam, and lightly sprinkle salt).
the decor was nice, and i must say that the service is good/quick so at least they have that going for them.

in need of red tuna and octopus. i know its pricey but come on! we were caving red tuna but wanted dim sum so weorderedfrom both places. hockey sushi delivers for free so we just came by to pick up the dim sum from fusion. décor is nice, service is great. keep up the good work!

delicious food!! nice interior atmosphere!!. i love the combination of sushi and dim sum. the food quality is excellent and it came quick and fresh. every sushi iorderedwere delicious! their dim sum is very tasty, too. i totally took advantage of all-you-can-eat model, so i tried many different dishes and i loved them all so far. i will definitely go back for more!

the interior atmosphere is modern, elegant, and eye pleasing. very comfortable. well designed and put together for sushi restaurant for sure! all elements are in keeping with theme. i really enjoyed my space. :) ottawa needs more restaurant like fusion dim sum & sushi!!!
