great sushi!. we were a bit skeptical because the takeout menu prices seemed cheap, but the sushi is exceptionally good. will definitely order from here again!

arrived around 4:15pm for an early belated mother's day dinner as my son had to leave at 6pm to go to work on a tuesday afternoon, there were only a few small tables present at the time.

we put in a small order to start which consisted of some dumplings and some california rolls... which arrived quite promptly. keep in mind that this is not the 'rush' time of the dinner period.

then we placed another order at about 4:40pm for our "mains" which consisted of ribs, bbq salmon, etc.. by 5:15pm nothing from the 2nd order placed had arrived, we placed another order in case they had 'lost' our previous order still... nothing arrived. we went to inquire... they said to give them "10 minutes", by 5:45pm... still nothing had come out. so we had to leave. again, 90 minutes sitting in the restaurant with only a few dumplings and a california roll ...for a family of 4. this is unacceptable.

went to pay and they billed us the full price for 4 adults which came to over a $100... asked to speak to the manager, the person at the cash identified herself as the owner of the restaurant. she said that we did not give them enough time to make the food... ***90 minutes*** and only a few dumplings and a california roll?!?!??! she gave us a $10 discount. her attitude made it seem like it was our fault, we "rushed" out.

this place is despicable. avoid at all costs!!!!

we thought maybe this was an isolated incident, we came home, read all the reviews... everyone has a similar awful situation and thought that we should confirm with the previous reviews, apparently this happens frequently.

this was by far our worst sushi experience in the city. go at your own risk! the first time we went, it was a busy lunch hour but the staff walked past us 4 times without even acknowledging us. when we got their attention they were extremely rude and we decided to leave.

a month or so later, we decided to return to see if it was just an off day and we came for dinner this time. this was a huge mistake because the $25.99 dinner price is a joke for the quality of food!

the staff is not attentive at all, but that's kind of par for the course at all you can eat sushi restaurants so i had no expectations.

we ordered the usual amount that we get at other sushi places because we were starved. when the rolls arrived they were absolutely disgusting. it felt like chalk in the mouth and was literally garbage.

we told the staff that the quality was not good and we weren't going to eat it simply because of that and we didn't want to get charged extra. well, the waitress got the manager and she was the rudest person we've encountered. she argued that their policy is anything not eaten is charged extra and accused us of ordering too much. but this was simply not the case, we were both still hungry and shouldn't be forced to eat disgusting food that made us both sick.

in any normal restaurant, the customer is always right and they would offer to make something else. but for some reason they not only won't rectify the situation, they use it as an excuse to charge you more!!

i was appalled at their rudeness and said i'm leaving now but only paying the $25.99 x 2 meals and nothing more! the manager went from table to table asking other customers of their food was equally bad to prove that we were crazy. trust me i felt like just walking out, but unlike this establishment, i have standards that i hold to. i waited until she was done polling the restaurant and paid for my meal and left. never again will i return!

if you insist on trying this place, be warned to first try lunch and order a very tiny amount so you can taste the food first. if it's horrible, like our experience you're not out of pocket very much.

the food was horrible. the meat was overcooked and burnt. sushi pizza had overcooked fried rice and a pile of crab with absolutely no taste at all. sushi did not taste fresh. do not recommend this place at all. will never order from this place again.

have been here twice now. the food is good, service is okay. some of their menu is a bit off what i’m used to, but they will also make changes for you when you order. overall good food!

the worst sushi we ever had in restaurant!
some of them even tasted like left over food or even rotten.
supermarket sushi quality will be much better that in this place!
we could not eat most of the food and  80% just left on the plates!
the prices $29 per person (also for the kids 11/12 years old they charge the same price) are too high especially for what you get!
on saturday night only 2 tables were occupied so it says a lot...
the stuff from 1 to 10 i would rate it 3.
will never come back and do not recomend this place to anyone!

this used to be my favourite ayce sushi place but after today's lunch, i won't ever return.

totally uninterested and indifferent staff. food that tasted leftover - and we were there at 11:15 am, so the food should have been fresh as can be! several dishes never appeared at our table. we had to ask for the wasabi and ginger. unacceptable.

this place has gone off the rails and i guess it's well known because at noon only five tables were occupied.

i will no longer give this restaurant my business nor recommend it to anyone. i can't believe how much they've gone downhill. shame, really.

this is not only the best ayce sushi place in the west end, but is tops city wide. the dim sum alone is worth the trip. best time to go is 2pm during the week as it gets very busy other times.

we used to eat here often. now it seems there are new owners/management and the service  and quality has fallen. this weekend was the ultimate bad experience. only 50% of ordered dihes appeared at the table and their quality was questionable. i don't believe we wil come back here.

food: gross at best
service: staff dressed like slobs, ignore you and avoid bringing you more food
cleanliness: tables sticky, bathroom disgusting, they stored tires in the front hall for a year!

i ordered from fusion kanata for delivery and received a call 30 minutes later saying that their driver is off today and if i wanted my order i would have to pick it up. i said i wanted a manager and after arguing with me the girl hung up. another girl called me back and said the "manager" said she could give me a discount. i asked to speak with the manager and she said that the manager was off today. i called her on her lie and she as well hung up on me. the actual manager called me. i said i wanted my order free because of the disrespect. the manager told me that it was her day off and the driver "called in sick" and that it is not her problem i don't get my order. she said she would give me a discount. i said i wanted the order free because of how rude everyone was to me. she said "not happening" and hung up on me as well.

you can honestly find better places to eat sushi in this city. we went here on a late sunday afternoon very recently, the floor was disgusting, i mean it wasn't busy and it was before the dinner rush and well after a lunch rush, so you would think it would be clean, the floors were covered with food from the previous sitting.

we ordered a variety of food, some of us like sushi more than others. some of their non sushi items were decent, some extremely questionable. things like general tao chicken, chicken fried rice, spring rolls and such were not amazing nor poor; but some was certainly over cooked (too deep fried :/). as for the sushi, it was okay, definitely nothing spectacular or noteworthy. some of the rolls weren't even rolled properly and were falling apart as we picked them up. i left hungry and turned off of sushi. our ice cream was served with forks, it was frost bitten and you could tell old.

as for the staff, they weren't attentive at all, we went 10+ mins trying to get someone's attention.

unfortunately we had to get the dinner price which was so disappointing ... $34 for a terrible dinner.

just like every other all you can eat sushi place; as soon as they are reaching one year being open their food and service decline dramatically.
brought a friend here this evening for supper, there were two other tables, the first thing i noticed was how dirty our server's clothes were. the menu's were dirty and gross as well. the food took forever and the service was horrible to the point that we got up to leave even though we weren't finished because he never came to pick up our paper with our dessert order yet someone ran right over to the cash to take our money to pay $30 to a rude cashier who didn't even say your welcome or a thank you and when i told her she should respond she mouthed me off with no hesitation. to sum it all up this place is dirty, dingy, slow, rude and i will never return.

really? i have tried over 15 times in the last month to call this place for a phone in/pick up order for small and large parties. never, ever does anyone answer, and when i walk in and ask why no one answers the phone, they say it's because "they are too busy" ... 4pm on a monday night? i'm trying to support locale , but this place is not supporting me in return.

for an ayce sushi it's not bad in comparison to the other places here. i believe you get the best bang for your buck (not including gasoline to come here though) going here because there's barely any substantial difference in dinner and lunch save for some rolls and sashimi. for lunch you get an array of dim sum selection, which in general were pretty good for a buffet-type place. 

service is really slow, restaurant is really small, so it's not a great place to go if you are in a hurry.

our favourite here is the fusion house roll (ice cream wrapped in crepes pretty much), it is really good and we've never seen any other places have this.
