since moving to conway, i heard that fuji is the place to eat hibachi. so i went with a few friends who had eaten there many times before. we waited about 10 minutes (not bad for a saturday night/ holiday weekend) we were seated and placed our orders and got our salad and soup. it took about 30 minutes from the time we sat down until the chef came out to cook. he barely said 2 words to us. he just made the food. no show, no conversation, nothing. when we would ask a question he would answer like we were idiots or just ignore us all together. the waitress was slow to refill drinks. then we got our checks and they added their own tip to it, but still had a spot for a tip on the credit card receipt. terrible service, food was "okay" terrible location. probably will not go back.

worst service i have ever experienced, no corporate to talk too. tried to at least talk to the manager but she said she did no wrong. don't go. so glad umami opened its 100%better

black widow spider in my alcoholic beverage. soup was served cold and never fixed. scallops were slimy. the chef served the wrong cut of steak and it was not cooked to correct temperature. worse experience at a hibachi resturant ever.

mixed feelings. great sushi, and the yum yum sauce is exceptional, but service is not great and gets really pricey after 3:00. we tried to reserve this place for a college graduation dinner expecting over 20 guests, and they refused to take our reservation. went to another hibachi grill in town, where they gladly took our reservation.

this restaurant is not for african americans!!! the last 3 times that i've been, the blatant racism has gotten incredibly worse. between the rude behavior, bad service, blatant disrespect & being overcharged i will not be back! it's unfortunate because i have been coming to this establishment for 5 years! tonight was the last straw!! it pains me to have to write such a bad review being that i am in the food and beverage industry myself. yet, in this climate of extreme racism and division, it's a must to inform the black community on whom wants us to support and patronize their business. fuji in springhurst is clearly not apart of our allies. and that's ok... we'll see how long they last with that type of behavior towards a community of people whose buying power is over $2 trillion a year....

group of 10 on sunday night, set us at a table for 8. my order was delivered 5 minutes or more later than everyone else at the table,food was over cooked and dripping in grease. we ask for 3 separate checks, each check had a gratuity added which totaled over $30. will never go back

my friend and i ordered ramen. the noodle ($10) seemed to be a dollar instant noodle and we asked to change it to something else we order next. i ordered sushi. i was enjoying it except the last roll they put much wasabi in. that was not really funny at all. a week later, i even realized that they charged tip that i didnt even provide on the receipt. this restaurant has so much disrespect.

the staff at fuji, simply put, make dinner fun. we've been going to this particular location for years. low turnover in a food and beverage industry establishment is telling in its own respect. the food is delicious and consistent--once you find a favorite, you'll be hooked!

this is the best hibachi that i have ever had. i live in little rock but my husband and i drive here regularly just to eat here. and when we don't fill like siting at the hibachi table and watching the show we can order the same thing at a personal table. try the yum yum sauce, and if you like sauce with heat  ask for it hot!

i have eaten at fuji multiple times, probably 6-8 times in the last year. the food is always very good at the hibachi grill. the sushi is always very good as well. my only complaint (and this is likely just a personality issue) is that sometimes the chef seems like a robot, doing the exact same routine every other chef does and doing it every single time. many times they can say (depending on your definitionof awkward and inapropriate) very awkward and uncomfortable things and sometimes inapropriate things. i don't have the need to be entertained like that, just watching them cook would do it for me, but if you like the comedian bit, then you'll probably be pretty entertained. once again, though, the food is fantastic.

unhappy. my husband and i went to fugi's on a friday at lunch. i ordered a steak and shrimp and my husband said, " i'll have that too." when our plates came out i was served steak and chicken. i don't eat chicken. i immediately told the waitress that it was wrong. she said "no, you say steak and chicken." " i said no." she then raised her voice and said "no, you say steak and chicken." this was.quite odd since i had not even said what was wrong with the order. my husband just switched plates with me and we ate and left. but we will never go back. i believe the waitress' s name was roni.

wil not go back! steak was very tough and there was very little of it. scallops were ok. for what we paid it was a bad joke on us. i have been to many restaurants like this and all were good or great.
don't go to fujis!

cattle call!. i've been a big fan of fujis in the past but recently i find it very disappointing! four out of the last 5 visits i have left irritated. shame on me, i know! if you're unfortunate enough to be the last seating at the hibachi table you can forget about soup and salad because everyone else at your table has placed their order. for me, the food quality has been great but you must inhale your meal because before your 4th bite the check is presented to you in a hurried manor. and if you are brazen enough to actually want to finish your food they have no problem cleaning the area around you and setting up for the next heard. awkward! i have tried to stay faithful but with all the new completion in town they have lost my loyality.
