my third and last time visiting fuji as the service was not up to par this go round. ordered steak and shrimp, which cost $20.50 w/o tax, not realizing that if i wasn't the server's type of customer that i would be given the scraps at the table. he fed the young women at the table then gave me what he had left. not to mention i had the biggest ticket at the table. who do you complain to? no one, as the waiter looked helpless and the chef basically told me to stuff it. i will not be goingbackagain.

i just went to this restaurant and i am shocked at the quality of the food. i am even more shocked at the attitude of the owner! we ordered the fillet mignon medium rare and lthe lobster. the food was in edible! the fillet mignon was well done and the lobster was so rubbery and hard you couldn't even chew it! okay you get bad food every once in awhile everywhere it happensi i didn't want to make a scene at the table with the rest of our group so i went up to the front and spoke to the manager who directed me to the owner. i proceeded to tell the owner how bad the food lwas and said he would go talk to the cook. i said nothing else because i thought he would take care of it. the bill came he did nothing on the bill... this was $160 bill for 5 people. we paid the bill and everyone left except me... again i do not want to make a scene. i went up to the owner and i said you did nothing on our bill and he laughed at me. i went really we just spent $160 and again he laughed...ha ha ha!! we have gone to this restaurant many many times we will never gobackagain!!! i have never seen such disrespect from an owner in my whole entire life!! it's like he doesn't even realize because of us (consumers) he is in business. plus the food was subpar nowhere near the quality that you would expext on a $25 dish. i'm not even sure what the filet mignon was but i promise you it was not fillet mignon. just know you have been warned if you decide to go there....

i have been eating here at least twice a month for yrs. i normally live this place. tonight was my son's 16th birthday. my dad, my husband and i, took him out. i ordered my usual, as did my son, which was a filet. both tasted spoiled. i have never complained about anything here, till tonight. the manager brought another "filet", which wasn't even a filet!! she never checkedbackwith us. i just paid for all and left all of them. number one, the juices from the spoiled one were all over my rice and vegetables! i was scared to even bring it home to my dog! i don't know if i'll gobackor not. won't be for awhile!

ugh. comingbackfrom a short vacation and trip, i decided that i wanted to eat sushi on my last day off. i walked in to fuji for the first time, and i "sign in??" perhaps that had something to do with the alcohol, which i didn't order. as i'm looking at my menu, the table in front of me start arguing with the waiter, and 3 of the 4 people sendbacktheir food. later, one of those 3 send itbackagain. this should have been a clue. i look at the menu and find that it is quite expensive. i order some sushi and two rolls. the place was pretty empty, and yet the service was slow. i ran out of tea, and was never offered more, until i was ready to leave. the sushi was served without the usual wasabi, and did not look appetizing. the sushi was horrible. the rice was overcooked, the fish was sort of dry, and definitely not fresh. they compensated for this by putting extra wasabi on it. nasty nasty!

fortunately, i eat sushi regularly, so i know what sushi is supposed to taste like. had this been my very first time, i would never have eaten it again. even now, whenever i eat sushi, i think about the carp i ate here.
