do you have a hankering for some fries, gravy and cheese curds in the late hours of the night into the wee hours of the morning? fritz is open late and is agreatway to satisfy your itch for some poutine. it's not particularly cheap, but the fries are cooked perfectly and you can never go wrong with poutine anyhow.

hard not to like. in case you haven't figured out yet that i love street food, let there be no ambiguity. a place like this is right up my alley. the fries were excellent but the magic is i the dipping sauces... all i can say is that you need to try them to see what i mean.greatfood all around. and the prices are really very, very reasonable.

all that and a bowl of poutine. another hole in the wall recommended by a server at another restaurant. it wasgreatbut had to eat fries outside due to the lack of room.

we got the chicken poutine and mango curry chutney and chili chutney. the poutine was good,the chicken was tender and flavorful, the gravy was good and the fries were good too. overall agreatplace to try canadian poutine for visitors , tourists and locals. as for the dips they were what we would call aioli rather then chutney but they were good none the less. we liked mango curry better.

deeeeeeeelish!. this was our first time to fritz - and the owner was such a gem! you can tell this woman is proud of her food and it shows!

we had the pulled pork poutine, and it did not disappoint. we orderd 2 sauces, chipotle and blue cheese - both great, but to be honest - the poutine did not really need them, it wasgreaton it's own.

we’ve had la’s version of poutine (from animal ) and we loved it.  but we were excited to try the real thing in canada! when we searched for poutine, fritz was one of the more popular places who specialized in french fries smothered with gravy. …i mean just look at their menu. we just went with a standard poutine (large)… no toppings and no special dips (even though i wanted to try them all). i always thought “poutine” fries were just gravy fries and didn’t realize that cheese curds were an essential part of this canadian dish! food :  freaking delicious!!! fries came out hot, gravy was even hotter. despite the heat, our little cheese curds didn’t really melt (mind blown). gravy tastedgreatand was my favorite part. oh, and the fries were crispy. delicious. atmosphere : very small.  there is only one little table/bench inside.  we just took our order to go...

boring, rather go to mcdonald's. i went into the shop thinking it was going to be awesome (since there were so many award stickers on the front of their door). the thing is, the fries were not special and tasted like any other fries you'd get. the only special thing was that they had a vast array of condiments that they scoop into a cup for you. you're only allowed a specific amount of it so choose your flavor wisely. however, you could also go home and make this yourself. i think the #1 reason why they have a lot of business is because they are opened late (3am) on party nights (the weekend and some odd days) so it's agreatlate night stop for greasy food.

first time having poutine. i really enjoyed it. fries were crispy even after be loaded with gravy and providedgreattexture. tasty gravy and the cheese curds added a delicious creaminess. yummy!

these aregreatfries! the dips aregreatand so many to choose from. i had the med fritz with chipotle dip, so fritzin good. my husband had the medium poutine, holy amazing.

reallygreattasting poutine. i have been hyped up to try this place out since a few months ago. finally got a chance to get out to downtown and ordered a plain poutine. the fries were slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the cheese curds were soft and all melty, the gravy was consistent (not too salty, not too bland), and not to mention the cheese and gravy were layered with the fries and not just on top.

price is reasonable, but overall it's worth any price. it's so good. i will be back to try the other mix-ins.

i come from a franco family and no this is not traditional franco poutine, but it'sgreatin its own right. it's a dutch fry house not a québécois poutine place. the staff is amazing. i go every 2 months yet they always remember my order. i highly recommend it.

quick comfort food. this place has somegreatpoutine, portions are a little overpriced but it is still tasty. better poutine can be found downtown as well as commercial.
