freaky tiki

went to thiscafefor the first time this morning. has a very friendly & inviting atmosphere. great coffee & delicious sour dough toast with vegemite. friendly staff. nice dog friendly area outside. will definitely come back again.

food is good considering acafein suburb but waitress is not nice. we ordered smashed avocado with poached eggs, but eggs are definitely overcomes. coffee is good, however.

nice atmosphere - very hip for the area. seems like acafeyou'd find in fitzroy. we tried the chai latte and toasties. both were excellent, simple offerings. got some potato and bacon salad to go. left it in my bag for a few hours before eating it, so it tasted a bit weird, but the sauce was good.

cute littlecafewith decent coffee. the menu was pretty small in terms of breakfast items but the sunrise salad was wholesome and delicious. good service

been here once when we were after a quick lunch. thecafehas a cool, quirky vibe to it, with lots of artwork for sale and also some games, like noughts and crosses, to play. i had a chicken turkish roll which i enjoyed; the flavours were great, it tasted fresh and it was reasonably priced (for a uni student budget). service was good too! would come back if i'm in the area again.

my family of 4 visited freaky tiki for lunch today. the smallcafehas a great hippy vibe with friendly service and a small selection of healthy dishes and burgers, freshly squeezed juices and coffees. the food was good for every reasonable prices. it is a bit disappointing when u arrive early for lunch and they have already run out of some items, but other than that, it is worth a visit.

just love it... wont say a bad thing about freaky tiki. there a young couple hope and anton who have just purchased this café..there putting there heart and soul into it..and maybe some might wait some might not..but its the type of place that's not a quick 15 mins meal. (its no mcdonalds) its a feel goodcafelike home to me. order sit and relax...great cruzy music. great local coffee and fresh local produce goes into their food..its honest and yet somewhat appealing to all ages..i never want to leave..i love it ... p.s. the girls are always friendly..i give any new business ago.

i came across this funky quirky littlecafein rye..sat down and was greeted with a big smile. .hi my names hope. .on her suggestion i ordered the sunrise salad with a cofee ..local brand too .my sunrise salad was to die for. bacon spinach pumokin lettuce avocado seeds .perfect for any paleo addict..there is a rsnge of beautiful salads .pasta . chicken mango quinoa and .fruit salad too..beautiful fresh muffins. .on paying my bill i thanked hope..and said i loved the food .and ill definitely be back..she said good im the new owner. .such acafe.great friendly atmosphere .i will b back :-d

good food. we had lunch on the 12th of jan 2014 thecafewas so busy, the middle of the holiday season so we were patient. we enjoyed the food and coffee were later told that they were understaffed that day as two had called in ill. we will return again when visiting rye.
