fleetwood macchiato

got their vegan beetroot sandwich to go. it was delicious. fresh ingredients, and a load ofgoodstuff. pretty filling, it kept me going for a few hours. it is quite a buzzing cafe close to erskineville station.

this place is verygoodfor vegos because meat here is largely treated as a side. nonethless, the options are not bad for light meals. i had the poached eggs with barley and a mandarin soda. very nice decor. service was very slow considering the complexity of the meal.

a busy little place with heaps of character. we tried to eat here a few times but it was always too busy. when we did finally make it in its easy to see why it's popular. awesome friendly service, a creative and very appetising menu, their sandwiches are agoodsize serving and coffees are great. our new fave place in the neighbourhood!

a quick pit stop at this small cafe on erskineville road. i picked up a mocha and they used sample. the service wasgoodand coffee was decent.

the prices are high but you getgoodstaff, a popular small room (busy at 10:30 on a wednesday) and interesting product. i’ll givegoodmarks just for the unusual coffee, starting off rough and somewhat grainy but then so creamy that it all rolls over your tongue like an avalanche of pristine swiss soil and cattle.

we had the housemade cornbread and citrus cured kingfish.

loved the cornbread and that slight hint of chilli, which really lifted the dish to even higher heights of deliciousness.

wasn't a huge fan of the citrus cured kingfish because the fish was a bit firm and just a tad salty. although, kudos to adding pickles to the dish as that really helped.@

overallgoodplace for brunch and would come back to try other items on the menu.

we were nearly put off by the pun-name but foundgoodcoffee, relaxed atmosphere, hip-hop on the stereo. a hole-in-the-wall kinda place, so limited but interesting breakfast menu.

quick friendly service . came on a sunday at 1 and wasn't packed. house made pickles are fantastic .goodcoffee.

so this happened... delicious and warming coconut sticky rice with poached fruits ($16). would have preferred aborio or black rice rather than basmati. all the food at this hole in the wall café likedgoodand they were churning out a lot of coffee too. my friend had avocado on toast with chipotle oil, chili and nori which was a generous size and looked so tasty ($16.50).

fleetwood macchiato is a cute little cafe located in inner-west erskineville. it's perfect for including a decent walk in after visiting the eveleigh markets.  macchiato as their name suggests, fleetwood macchiato make some seriouslygoodcoffee. eggplant salad  a healthy and fresh mixture of eggplant, poached eggs, purple carrot, shaved snow peas, asparagus, pickled radish; and topped with toasted buckwheat coriander toast.  cauliflower roasted cauliflower, poached eggs, smoked garlic soubise, mint, parsley, sesame, collard greens. i especially love the flavour of the smoked garlic. the eggs in both dishes are perfectly cooked with a runny yolk. was thoroughly impressed with our lunch here, though we did think the wait was a tad too long. luckily, it was a leisurely weekend lunch so we didn't really notice the time, but by the time we did, we had been waiting about 30-40 minutes, and at one point we almost thought they had forgotten about our order. other than that, fleetwood macchiato is a lovely spot for great coffee and brunch.

the waiter forgot to put our order through but recovered very well. the food was reallygoodand the staff were friendly and genuine. i'll go back next time i'm in the area.

the guys that run this place really know what they're doing and they're bloody friendly too. newtown and erko runs high with rude waitstaff and average coffee - this place really leads the pack. the menu is interesting too - lots ofgoodchoices, well thought out and cleverly executed. love it!

good coffee. currently the best coffee in erskineville.
breakfast isgoodtoo. not a huge menu but it is a very small cafe. the smashed egg roll is nice. muffins aregoodtoo.
yummy.

watch out shenkin "boys" you have got some stiff competition , well done fleetwood , great coffee "strong butgood& the muffins are the best in the inner west ,goodhonest food , cooked with love .. i am a big fan
