watch out. the only thing you need to watch out for at this place is a blonde hostess she is a terrible person with a bad attitude other than that the food is really good and the atmosphere is also very nice.

just had lunch here. service was excellent and so was the food. price was moderate and drinks were good. had the shrimp and grits. doesn't sound good but they were delicious and i would order again. my husband had the crab cake sandwich which he said was very good. we can certainly recommend fleet landing.

spacious and tasty. we arrived at 4p as dinner was served at 430p.
we decided to have appetizers and drinks.
we had the crab cake- very good and wonderfully done crab. gumbo and sherry she crab soups were very good.

we liked the large, bright, clean space and waterfront views.
we were entertained by the folks on the deck getting attacked by birds- something to consider when dinning alfresco. haha

would consider a return for dinner.

glad this treasure of a building is put to good use..... but, please, elevate the food just the teensiest bit. don't bother with the anemic dinner salad and more so, avoid the anemic bleu cheese dressing! i had the small plate blackened shrimp with the pimento grits. the shrimp were a bit tough (overcooked?) but those grits need to be a main course! delicious biscuits with honey butter and equally delicious hush puppies. terrific wine list as well. i would go back, to take tourists, for a fair to good meal - not a great meal.

mediocre. i have had good meals at fleet landing, but my most recent visit was very mediocre. crab stuffed oysters appetizer was bland. seared scallops had no flavor or "sear." crispy flounder was ok, but still required lemon to make it acceptable. waitress didn't care that we didn't finish anything and my plate was nearly untouched. she asked if i like it and i said "no" and explained the problems. she offered to bring something else, but they had already done poorly three times so i really didn't want more bland, mediocre food. maybe they had a bad night, but i'll think twice before returning.

right in the water. seafood pasta dish was full of nice fresh seafood a great dish. oysters nice and fresh, service was ok but then the place is a mob, packed. parking is hopeless for the faint at heart. will go back as all in all a nice place.

a local guy sent us. the guy we bought our carriage ride ticket from told us to go to fleet landing. he said "it's where the locals go". our quick lunch was terrific. my flounder and my wife boiled shrimp were satisfying and priced right.

we love it. it is easy to discount fleet's on first glance and think it is just another tourist trap popular only because of the view of the harbor. wrong. this restaurant, reminiscent of our favorites in ptown, delivers great food at reasonable prices.the "she-crab" soup is outstanding with just the right hint of sherry and the "shrimp and grits" is to die for. the drinks were reasonably priced and the service excellent. this is one restaurant not to miss.

it's not all about drinking at this former naval building. the restaurant bustles with visitors, locals and families - chowing on some very down-to-earth southern fare with a heavy local seafood presence.

go for the view, enjoy the food. the food is good, nothing to write home about, but good. the view and the bar are exceptional. fleet landing probably has the best view of the harbor of any restaurant or bar in charleston. the servers are friendly and helpful. inside can be a bit loud, but if you can get a seat outside in the spring or fall, you will want to stay for hours.

it wasn't bad, but it definitely was not worth the money spent. i would have to say i've had better seafood at red lobster. more than likely will not be back.
