visited charleston for a weekend trip and made it to fleet landing for lunch. brunch menu looked good but settled for salad with shrimp. delicious! wonderful service andfoodoptions. highly recommend.

watch out. the only thing you need to watch out for at this place is a blonde hostess she is a terrible person with a bad attitude other than that thefoodis really good and the atmosphere is also very nice.

glad this treasure of a building is put to good use..... but, please, elevate thefoodjust the teensiest bit. don't bother with the anemic dinner salad and more so, avoid the anemic bleu cheese dressing! i had the small plate blackened shrimp with the pimento grits. the shrimp were a bit tough (overcooked?) but those grits need to be a main course! delicious biscuits with honey butter and equally delicious hush puppies. terrific wine list as well. i would go back, to take tourists, for a fair to good meal - not a great meal.

we love it. it is easy to discount fleet's on first glance and think it is just another tourist trap popular only because of the view of the harbor. wrong. this restaurant, reminiscent of our favorites in ptown, delivers greatfoodat reasonable prices.the "she-crab" soup is outstanding with just the right hint of sherry and the "shrimp and grits" is to die for. the drinks were reasonably priced and the service excellent. this is one restaurant not to miss.

go for the view, enjoy the food. thefoodis good, nothing to write home about, but good. the view and the bar are exceptional. fleet landing probably has the best view of the harbor of any restaurant or bar in charleston. the servers are friendly and helpful. inside can be a bit loud, but if you can get a seat outside in the spring or fall, you will want to stay for hours.

3.5. had the fried green tomato blt.foodwas fresh but the fgt lacked the distinct tart flavor of a good fgt. atmosphere was very nice with great views of the bay. staff was friendly and quick.

a nice location though a little run down, but greatfoodand fresh catch dishes. the fried green tomatoes were wonderful as well. this and hyman's are big tourist trap destinations but still fun for locals as well

excellent experience, ryan our server was outstanding, thefoodwas good, quick and we would repeat. i had the shrimp and and grits and it was delicious but i have had better.

i'm giving fl a 4 star review based off of thefoodof the rest of my party. if i had gone by myself and ordered the same thing, i would give them a 3 probably. overall, the atmosphere was good. we sat outside along the harbor. inside was very loud, but it is a small place. members of my party had she-crab soup, crab cakes, shrimp and grits, lowcountry boil, and i had the $23 atlantic salmon. everyone seemed to really enjoy their main course and sides. my salmon was delicious, cooked with crispy edges and still fleshy and moist inside just how i like it, but my mixed vegetables were cold and very underwhelming. the garlic mashed potatoes were okay. not bad, but not great.

fleet landing was in a great location. located right new to waterfront park and city market. thefoodwas good. had the fish and chips. the fish could of used a little more flavor. the biscuits were amazing with sweet butter. and the pecan pie for dessert was fantastic!

of the three dinners i enjoyed in charleston, including two seafood restaurants, fleet landing was my favorite. there was a bit of wait time since we didn't have reservations, but it was a nice location for waiting and thefoodwas definitely worth the wait. i keep daydreaming about the stuffed hush puppy appetizer. oh my! it was so delicious. my shrimp and grits was delicious as well. there was so muchfoodthat i had to take half my entree home with me. my wife's crab cakes were so light and fluffy like no others i have tasted. if i could have, without my wife thinking i was crazy, i would have returned for another meal at fleet landing before heading home.

fleet landing is superb. every time i visit, i make a point of coming here. you can't beat the view, and thefoodis always cooked perfectly and delicious. the swordfish is my favorite. i recommend reservations, but if you walk in, you can enjoy a drink at the open air bar while you wait. and that's not so bad. they are well-staffed with true professionals in the front and the back of the house, able to accommodate a large party with no waiting onfoodor drinks, even when the place is packed. have i said enough? go there already!

terrible rude hostess. i made a reservation for 5. when we arrived, the hostess informed us they don't accept reservations for parties of 5. only ones for 4 and 6 or more. how ridiculous! were forced to sit in a 4 seat booth with a chair squeezed in. servings were small and prices were high.foodwas good though. will not go back again.

best shrimp and grits ever!. fleet landing has the best view in charleston harbor. the place is always busy and thefoodis very good.
they have the best, most creamy, fluffy grits that i have found. the shrimp and grits are heavenly.
their triggerfish sandwich is very good as is their flounder. i have never had a wait.
the service is about average for a restaurant near the cruise terminal. not terrible, but busy.
everyone we have taken there was impressed.

first off it was easter sunday when we went and they couldn't not har handled the crowd better. we were so impressed we told the manager. ourfoodwas quick and excellent. wonderful experience. we will go back!
