just had lunch here. service was excellent and so was the food. price was moderate and drinks were good. had theshrimpand grits. doesn't sound good but they were delicious and i would order again. my husband had the crab cake sandwich which he said was very good. we can certainly recommend fleet landing.

glad this treasure of a building is put to good use..... but, please, elevate the food just the teensiest bit. don't bother with the anemic dinner salad and more so, avoid the anemic bleu cheese dressing! i had the small plate blackenedshrimpwith the pimento grits. theshrimpwere a bit tough (overcooked?) but those grits need to be a main course! delicious biscuits with honey butter and equally delicious hush puppies. terrific wine list as well. i would go back, to take tourists, for a fair to good meal - not a great meal.

had the calamari appetizer, excellent. had theshrimpentrée, excellent! bar tenders were excellent, wait staff were very attentive. definitely will go back!

a local guy sent us. the guy we bought our carriage ride ticket from told us to go to fleet landing. he said "it's where the locals go". our quick lunch was terrific. my flounder and my wife boiledshrimpwere satisfying and priced right.

great location on the water with outside seating if you prefer. shrimpand grits was terrific and my wife like the fried green tomato blt. very good food. you'll like it. go here.

excellent experience, ryan our server was outstanding, the food was good, quick and we would repeat. i had theshrimpand and grits and it was delicious but i have had better.

went for lunch with family from out of town. couldn't resist getting theshrimpn grits. very well done. the tasso gravy was perfect. little light on the sausage. grits were nice and creamy. wife got the triggerfish sandwich. got a bite of that and it was excellent as well. lots of flavor. service was outstanding as well! plan to return soon!

i'm giving fl a 4 star review based off of the food of the rest of my party. if i had gone by myself and ordered the same thing, i would give them a 3 probably. overall, the atmosphere was good. we sat outside along the harbor. inside was very loud, but it is a small place. members of my party had she-crab soup, crab cakes,shrimpand grits, lowcountry boil, and i had the $23 atlantic salmon. everyone seemed to really enjoy their main course and sides. my salmon was delicious, cooked with crispy edges and still fleshy and moist inside just how i like it, but my mixed vegetables were cold and very underwhelming. the garlic mashed potatoes were okay. not bad, but not great.

of the three dinners i enjoyed in charleston, including two seafood restaurants, fleet landing was my favorite. there was a bit of wait time since we didn't have reservations, but it was a nice location for waiting and the food was definitely worth the wait. i keep daydreaming about the stuffed hush puppy appetizer. oh my! it was so delicious. myshrimpand grits was delicious as well. there was so much food that i had to take half my entree home with me. my wife's crab cakes were so light and fluffy like no others i have tasted. if i could have, without my wife thinking i was crazy, i would have returned for another meal at fleet landing before heading home.

had the fried green tomato appetizer with crab dip. very good. the other in my party had fried flounder platter and was good. theshrimpand grits were ok, would have liked theshrimpto be larger and it bit more flavorful dish. grits were good and creamy. visited for lunch

bestshrimpand grits ever!. fleet landing has the best view in charleston harbor. the place is always busy and the food is very good.
they have the best, most creamy, fluffy grits that i have found. theshrimpand grits are heavenly.
their triggerfish sandwich is very good as is their flounder. i have never had a wait.
the service is about average for a restaurant near the cruise terminal. not terrible, but busy.
everyone we have taken there was impressed.

service was great as was the food. we started with the she crab soup. (delicious and cheesy) then my husband had the trigger fish and i had the grilledshrimpsalad with grapes, sugared pecans and gorgonzola. yum! restaurant is one of the few actually on the water (old navy fleet landing, hence the name) and very close to the charleston street market.

not a very small kid friendly place. with a bar that should have chocolate syrup, unable to get chocolate milk. also no juices other than the ones at the bar. unwilling to cut the tail off theshrimpeither.
