flatire burgers

if your car survives the treacherous parking situation, you’ll enjoy checking out flatire burgers. they may not be the best burger in town, but the variety of their menu choices and the fun atmosphere are definitely worth your attention.

blah. good location for a burger place but mediocre food. i'm betting everyones there for the happy hour being that close to campus.

"flattire blowout" burger had a fried egg on it ... and i ate it.. last friday, i split a "flattire blowout" burger and fries with a friend. it had a fried egg on it!

now, i would not recommend making a lunch like this a habit, but by splitting it i felt a little better about the whole caloric intake thing.

this place is an excellent burger place it has a great sauce on the burgers and i love the jalapeno bun. it is one of my favorite places in edmond. there is one big problem here though. if you are there when it is busy its hard to get a seat and it can be extremely difficult to give your order. i had to leave because i was so hungry and couldn't get anyone to take my order. i think this could be resolved by having a host/hostess that always seats customers and informs the waiter/waitress/bartender that there is someone in their section and to take the order. i will still go there, because the burgers and chips are just great, but if its at a busy time i will just go somewhere else. i definitely recommend trying this delicious place and making it a regular stop.

great veggie burgers but used to be better. i agree with a previous review that flat tire used to be better. i always order the veggie burger, which is the best i've found so far. get it fried not grilled no matter what your server tells you. i also agree with previous reviews regarding the service and the cold fries. last time i ate there, i had to send my fries back. service has been hit or miss for me. sometimes i get good service but a unfriendly server and vise versa. i've taken many friends to flat tire and they all love it, however i do find myself hoping i won't get crappy service or a crumbly burger. i'll continue to eat here.

my new favorite burger joint!. my fiance and i tried out this little burger joint a couple of weekends ago. i had been looking for a good little burger restaurant for quite some time, and i think this place just fit the bill. it has a fun atmosphere, and the burgers are pretty good. i like that they give you a choice of having a whole wheat bun instead of the run of the mill white ones. the prices for the burgers are a little high considering that they dont come with any sides at all. we did try out the fried pickles as an appetizer, which were delicious! i would have liked to tried their sweet potato fries, but alas!, they were out of them that day. we will definitely go back!

it's okay. it was excellent for a while after they first opened. but a change in ingredients or something has dipped the burgers and fries to about average for me.

had the jalapeno burger. very solid. good french fries. i suspect the onion rings are possibly frozen. will return.

funky atmosphere & good food. the whole family likes flatire burgers. the atmosphere is fun, family-oriented and we've always had good service. the fish tacos are very good as is their version of the "garbage burger" with the jalapeno bun. definitely check out the smores volcano desert as well.

i'd consider the meat for burgers at flatire to be good, but not fantastic. the toppings seem to outshine the burger itself.

since my review of flat tire a few months ago, i decided to give them a second chance. zach, the manager, has gone out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction. i am glad that i gave them a second chance, because my family has been very pleased. i recommend the green chile burger #11.

child friendly...ok food...cust service:(. my family eats at flatire 3 to 4 times a month. i have always been pleased with all of their menu items. i order the #15 tuna sandwich a majority of the time. on my most recent two visits, i have had to raise the bun to verify there is a piece of fish. at a rather proud price of $10.99 i would expect a meaty piece of protein. when this was brought to the attention of the waitress, she did not express any concern. i decided to email flatire about the issue, but they have not sent any type of response. i am concerned about customer satisfaction and consistency with their products. i will be taking the $100-150/month in food purchases to other local restaurants.

food is ok to average , the service is terrible

eaten here weekly, never particularly good.. meh. as a member of the emhs drumline, we played here every home game, and had to eat here before the game. honestly i'd much rather go to burger king or carl's junior on the complete other side of of town. it wouldn't cost a third as much and would be just as good. the special sauce is good, but the burgers are just dry and normal.

the appetizers and desserts are the only things worth trying, and its usually what i got. if you want something new, try a different burger from jonnies or take a trip to irma's. there was a time when flatire was good, now its just using the name to draw customers, not exceptional food.

love the green chili burger and fried pickles. i think the two best things at flatire are the fried pickles and the green chili burger. flatire has daily specials, it's a good way to save some cash on your favorites. the s'mores are delicious, and a really fun dessert.

good but overpriced. we love sitting on the rooftop patio in the spring/fall. fish items are good, chili is great. kid's menu is terrible. not a fruit/veggie in sight. fried mini corndogs and french fries with a coke is not my idea of a good meal for my child.

try the smores!. great burgers. get there early. usually a wait. save room for the smores! yum!
