flatire burgers

big disapoinment. i ate at flatire burger in edmond last week and was really disappointed. first off i paid $7.00 for chips and queso that looked like cheez whiz. there was not two bites taken out of the whole bowl and the waitress did acknowledge that we had not touched it and pushed it aside, however never offered to take it off of our ticket. her response was, “sorry about that!” maybe had she offered to get us another appetizer or take it off our ticket, i would not have thought anything about it. i had last eaten at ftb about a year or so ago and didn’t think it was as bad as it was last week. they no longer take keep it local cards, the sweet potato fries were not the same and my favorite burger had been taken off the menu. dinner for me and my child was over $30. i don’t mind spending that kind of money for a dinner but not for burgers, fries and appetizers that were sub-par.
won’t be back.

we love flatire burgers. have been there a few times. we both love it. was there a few weeks ago and we sat upstairs on the deck. it was beautiful out and a perfect day for that. our waiter was amazing. i wish that i could remember his name . food was great as always !!!!

yummmm!. i was here for the first time on 9-13-13 & this was one of the best burgers i've had in my 51 years! whitney is such a sweet & friendly waitress & it has been ages since i have been treated this nicely at any restaurant! i recommend this place to everyone!

most delicious burger i've ever eaten! the mac and cheese burger with a jalapeno bun is to die for!

great food and service. best i have seen in quite some time. not only was our waiter great with my family and i. so was the entire staff. then to top it off the food was great. had the wagon wheel appetizer and salsa, guacamole, and queso was great. then we had burgers and they were awesome too and they had a wheat bun option. didn't hurt that it was dollar beer sat as well. very impressed. we will be back. keep up the good work

it was horrible!! started with the air set at 58 degrees.... then, the food was awful....made choosing this place over the garage the biggest mistake i've ever made.... and to top it off...the parking lot almost ate our 650....if you drive a car worth more than 10k...i wouldn't chance it!! won't ever be back...ever!!

decent burger joint. flatire is decent for a burger joint, although their veggie burger could use an upgrade. it didn't seem to have much flavor and the one i had was awfully mushy. otherwise, it's a great place to stop in when you're around uco campus and have a bite and a beer.

flatire burgers are a flat fail. flatire burgers won't make you sick or give you the runs, but beyond that they're lousy burgers and lousier wait staff. why do they employ so many pre-teen kids. it's like a version of highscool musical in a sweatshop. the kids clearly don't want to be there. they seem like they're all suffering from ipod separation anxiety when you're stating your order. no wonder they can't get it right. the restaurant decor is over the top and the burgers don't deliver. i mean come on, fried foods are one of the easier things to cook properly and flatire burgers managed to mess those up as well. hire a good fry cook ya turkeys. the salads are terrible and are made with very cheap ingredients. i got the sense that the pre-teens in back were having a good laugh. the burgers aren't well prepared and they sadly try to "spice" things up by adding grossly oversized toppings that don't work. adding large chunky cuts of avocado to a lousy burger doesn't make it better. the food they serve lacks skill in it's preparation and especially flavor. for all the hype the burgers are equivalent to red robin's or fuddruckers. that means i haven't been back since.

we split the mac & cheese burger. yes, you read that right...macaroni & cheese on a burger with bacon, onions and jalepenos. quite possibly the best burger i've ever had...

will have $1 dip cones! chocolate almond, butterscotch crunch and caramel toffee today.

fatire makes for flat meal. i didn't enjoy flatire burgers. things immediately got off to a rocky start. undercooked cheese fries combined with a mediocre burger hit me with a one-two punch of mediocrity. my stomach was helpless against the bland, boring meal that was overly salted and stale. there are plenty of unique burger experiences in oklahoma but this restaurant's food is about as exciting as paying taxes in an irs wax museum. i will commend the wait staff for being friendly. a ray of light in an overall dark and dismal dinner experience.

good burgers, good fried pickles. great place if you want something other than a chain restaurant. reminded me of a burger place i went to when i was in college. parking is not great, but a good place overall.

outstanding! i love the buns they use... never dry and old. my favorite burger in the area.

first time eating here and i liked it so well i had to set up an account to leave a review. i had the yellow fin tuna burger which was amazing cooked just right and baracho beans which were delicious on their own. will have to try out the burgers next time

worse than mcdonalds. this was a huge dissapointment. meat was tasteless, the cheese was not even partially melted, and bun was dry and dense. fries were ok, but not worth $2 after paying $6.30 for the cheeseburger. the chocolate shake was thin and not well mixed. i have no idea how these people stay in business, but i will never go back.
