we eat here about once a month and its always good. had our first bad experience a few weeks ago. went again tonight and it was good again. had the grouper special which was delicious. friends had the shrimp and grits and the shrimp po boy. everybody was happy. only problem was our friends got their food and my husband and i waited another five minutes for our meals to arrive. not a huge problem, but still.... if the small kitchen is the problem, enlarge it!

excellent food! we have been many times and have never been disappointed. service has always been very good. my only complaint would be the long wait if you go after 6:00pm without a reservation. and you better call four or five days ahead for a weekend night. they're that crowded because they're that good!

fantastic food "shack". what a great restaurant to have so close to our house. we have had the jambalaya, shrimp and grits, eggplant, all of it awesome. our favorite place and you can bring your own wine with no cork fee!! yes!

superb. my family and i tried this establishment on july 20th, we have driven by here on numerous occasions without stopping. on this trip my wife was looking up restaurants online, when she noticed the 90% approval rating for fisherman's corner. the restaurant we had planned to try only had a 70% rating. are we glad we made this decision, we had a wonderful meal served by people that were just a joy. we each tried one of the three chef's specials for the day. having tried all three myself, i can assure you they were amazing. fresh seafood done right. i would recommend this place to anyone that i see.

wow, cool, yummy, funky, casual, great staff, amazingly fast given kitchen staff.
ask for indoor seating, kinda hot at 6pm and we missed music on porch, might add speakers outside for patrons to participate in mood. 110% we will be back!

fisherman's corner is a one of a kind hole in the wall with excellent fare! we came early with a party of 6 and had excellent service. everyone's dishes were well seasoned and delicious - even comparable to our granny's incomparable seafood cooking. we will definitely be returning whenever we are in town!

great food and service! every one of the servers was running like crazy but they were fun and added to the whole experience. i would highly recommend this place.

no to-go orders after 5 pm. i've never heard of a restaurant not taking to-go orders after a certain time. if anything, to go orders can be easier to handle. i was told that they cannot accept to go orders after 5 pm...and this was on a tuesday night! very dissapointing.

three letters. omg!! we re.... three letters. omg!!
we read some reviews about this whole in the wall so we waited the 2 hour wait and boy was it worth the wait. i ordered the shrimp and crawfish linguine; the saw was so rich and flavorful i had to push the crawfish and shrimp aside because the linguine noodles and sauce was sooo delish. my husband ordered the shrimp and grits and favorite at home and wow!! it was amazing! he could not stop eating it. portions were huge, the complimentary rolls were so good. staff was amazing and friendly. i recommend going early because they ran out of a lot of items before we were seated. casual dining. patio and indoor seating. 10 out of 10, 5 stars!!!

great service and food. we had a large party without a reservation and they made it work for us at a table without a wait. the waiter was attentive and kind. did take a little longer to get our food. the specials were great and generous although a little pricey. mac and cheese was excellent as were the desserts. highly recommended and will go back.

disappointed! everybody sent us in the direction of this restaurant. sat outside on the deck.... no atmosphere to the place at all. 3 of the 4 people in our party got their food. clearly the other order had been forgotten. nothing was said to us. it finally came out when the others were almost finished with their food. still, nothing was said by our server. the food was good with the exception of the crab cakes that were smothered in a corn salsa concoction.
the waitstaff was rushing around us the whole time we were eating. just not a super enjoyable experience.

good food but....... we ate here last week. one ordered the special..blackened grouper on feta mashed potatoes with asparagus. the presentation was impressive...a 4 inch high mound of mashed potatoes with a smallish piece of grouper on top and 3 asparagus spears. the main part of the dish was mashed potatoes..lots of mashed potatoes ...expensive mashed potatoes since the dish was $28. i ordered shrimp diane...very flavorable but i carried home a quart of angel hair pasta..after eating all i could there. lesson learned...avoid dishes with pasta or potatoes. i really felt ripped off. i will go back..the food is good but i will choose carefully so i get seafood not pasta or potatoes!

fried gumbo!. this was a salad worth making the drive back for!! busy little 'shack' down under the bridge. and i can certainly understand why people flock there!

my husband had a po-boy, 'since the bread was right' -- they get real french bread from gambino's bakery in new orleans. they might consider adding creole mustard, but the sauce provided was not bad at all.

found fisherman's corner last year in april on urban spoon. loved it. so here we are back in florida this year and making the fisherman's corner one of out main stops.

it was a bit tough to find, a call to the restaurant helped us fine tune our directions. it was definitely worth finding! the food was heavenly and the staff very friendly and attentive.
