best ceasar sandwich ever!. i went there today for the first time and it was amazing! best paninis i have ever had and also the ceasar chicken is the best ceasar chicken sandwich ever made and possibly the best sandwich in general. i know there menu changes but every thing we tried (italian and ceasar chicken paninis and donuts) were amazing... lots of bees around there tough... only negative comment

cozy, busy and tasty. this place is kinda hidden away in a residential area but i was suprised how busy it was at lunch time. their patio allows for a little more seeting but in the winter they won't have room for many people to sit down. all that to say is the food was tasty and the staff were pleasent even though it was hot, busy and crammed. i will go back again but maybe not at lunch time.

on our first trip to chez edgar i had two cappuccinos, both frothy and delicious. this time, already being overloaded with caffeine, i opted for the smoothie. it arrived in a plastic container which was odd considering how the rest of the table wear seems so carefully chosen but clearly it was premade and the plastic is just an easy way to store/serve it. it was creamy, full of berry goodness and ga

highly recommend!. love this place. wish they had a bigger location (and not in gatineau) so i can come here more often.

lovely decor and food is amazing. cozy comfort food, and delicious baked desserts. they do a great job of pairing different tastes together so creatively to really create a delightful experience here.

had the smoked salmon panini, topped with cucumber, feta, capers, and yogurt. with the fava bean chicken soup.

and sampled almost every dessert: bacon wrapped cinnamon bun with orange and dates, cinnamon chocolate cookie, mini apple pie with cheddar, and mini reine-élizabeth cupcake (fig and dates topped with coconut).

so delicious! will definitely recommend this place.

cute, trendy and tasteful.. be prepared to be impressed. this young chef/restauranteur knows good food. wonderful cream soups seasoned with just the perfect herbs, bistro chic sandwiches without the high bistro chic price. bonus - you can buy a frozen soup to take home to your family. prepared to recommend this to anyone.

i feel an inexplicable connection to edgar, a new neighbourhood café near parc moussette in hull. maybe it's because i have my own dream of opening a little hospitality-related place, something like a bed & breakfast. since i discovered in late september that marysol of she eats bears was opening a café, i watched with admiration and anticipation as she made one of her dreams come true. it takes courage to do that. and smarts. and perseverance. i wish her success. based on the buzz around the café's ope

with its chalk boards, tall tables and matching chairs, and stainless steel accents, edgar has the hallmarks of a bistro. what sets it part is its charm, which is showcased in its decor and its in-house baked delectables.

you know that fuzzy feeling you get when something good happens to good people? i totally got that yesterday when i was watching marysol in action during the first day of edgar's opening. it's so great to see this long-time dream of hers finally become a
