you must try out this resto but whether you would go again is up to how much you love bacon and pork belly. the staff is very friendly and professional. i'd qualify their food as the best for an après-hangover. their sandwiches looked really nice but didn't have any more space to try. since i am not a bacon and pork belly fan my position against this resto is neutral.

high hopes - wont go back. pork panini was all fat, no meat. no attempts by staff to remedy when i complained.

this is a tiny little place that is as organic as they come! had the mac and cheese. (7/10) pork and pesto sandwich (8/10) and homemade ice cream sandwich. the owner also owns odile which is closing in 2 weeks. owner is burning out! but this little place offers some good food from people who obviously know the 'art' of cooking. try a take out. you won't regret it!

the atmosphere is wonderful.
a delicious selection of desserts available at the counter for the discriminating pallet.
the dutch baby is to die for!!
as was the selection of my dining partner. attention to the finest details right down to the delicious coffee served afterwards.

so good!!! almost don't want to post a review because the place is so small and has limited seating. but yum! perfect example of a small menu done right. my table shared the dutch baby, huevos rancheros, and poached egg. we brought home paninis for the hubbys and they loved them. great friendly service too! only bad side is that its not kid friendly, but theres always the park close by to dine al fresco on a nice day!

droooool. too delicious to put into words! finding this cafe wasn't too challenging, but finding a seat can certainly be. this place is tiny! however, it's definitely worth the wait! when my boyfriend and i arrived, we waited in line only a few minutes until two seats became available (i wouldn't go here in big groups if i were you). there were about 3 lunch and 3 breakfast options to choose from on a chalkboard. i had the beef 'bœuf' sandwich and it did not disappoint! one of the best sandwiches in my life! no contest! i also had a chai latte, which was served in a mason jar with a handle. this was quite good also. there was were also many desserts and take-home foods to drool over in a display. you have to go here!!

simply amazing!. we arrived at edgar around 11:30 am saturday morning to have breakfast/lunch and we were not surprised to see the restaurant completely full to the point where we decided to head to odile. my girlfriend and i had the porc, aged strong cheddar dutch baby and the tex mex breakfast. the coffee is great, the plates are full of flavour and if you feel like having poached eggs to go with your dutch baby you just have to ask! they will gladly bring you anything you want and for just about 15$ per person, br3eakfast does not get any better!

quelle surprise! it's a small place but very charming. the staff is friendly and helpful. i had the dutch baby and wow, the combination of the cheese, maple syrup and ham really work together. for those who are saying that the place is intimidating because of all of the french, don't be, the staff will answer all of your questions! merci marisol, ton restaurant ajoute un 'buzz' dans le quartier :)

asian pork and chicken pecan. was the best i have ever had. the pork was so tender and very tasty. my husband loved the chicken pecan. he couldn't believe how much meat there was. he found it very tasty. i will definitely go there to pick more to go meals. the food is so fresh it's not even worth it for me to do it myself because it would cost me more to make it.

i give it a 10 out of 10.

edgar is truly a gem. the moment you walk in, you'll feel a great vibe. although the staff and menus are in french, you won't be judged if you prefer to speak english. the staff at edgar are incredibly friendly and extremely attentive to their customers. brunch is a must here. their menu is small (just like the place) and changes weekly. the dutch baby crepe souffle with pork belly and apple compote is a great choice if you want salty and sweet. if you don't feel like brunch, their soups, sandwiches and pastries are always available. try the beignet du citron, you won't regr

good food...standing room only. the brunch and regular menu are both amazing, the coffee is fantastic, but even if you arrive before it opens - you still cant get a seat. the staff also let parties without the whole group present occupy a larger table while others are left standing or splitting up to sit - which is really annoying.

we've been going to edgar ever since it opened. food is creative, delicious, and staff is friendly. we've brought many friends and family here who only have praises for this little gem. the space is cozy and seating is limited. baby dutch has always been my personal favorite because of its wonderful mix of flavours. the desserts are worth taking home for an afternoon coffee. excellent!
