worst experience ever. staff were arrogant rude and not friendly. would not recommend it at all. left after eating a.very ordinary meal and went and had a coffee and a cake down the street at the boyz 4 brekie what a difference experience staff were lovely and service was amazing. i know whichplacein mornington im going to next time.

omg - freakin amazing pizza!! thisplaceis so worth the drive from melbourne on weekends. only problem is you have to wait hours sometimes for a table, but the pizza is soooooo worth it!!! this is my go-to casual date place. cruise down the coast, visit a few vineyards and finish with a late lunch at doc. pure bliss x

theplacewas packed and buzzing - such a vibe!
we ordered the kids meals and entrees with main too follow. everything came at once, which means some food went cold and we filled up quickly!
they replaced my sons rigatoni napoli because he won't eat cheese and they also had to remake my pizza as it had some plastic on top.
everything tasted amazing and most of the service was friendly and warm, beside one waitress, who liked to just about throw things on the table.

doc is my favourite italianplacein melbourne so i couldn't resist going to try the mornington store and it definitely maintained the same standards! we got the antipasto board and a san daniele pizza to share. loved the variety on the antipasto board and everything was delicious.
the service was friendly and efficient as always.
something to note is the umbrellas outside don't block out the sun when it is setting which is harsh on the eyes. they were happy for us to adjust our chairs to move out of the way though.

we had to wait about 15 mins on a saturday lunch time to get a seat. lovely atmosphere, the staff were friendly but theplacewas very crowded because of the long tables in the middle.

we ordered the pizza san daniele, pizza speck, pizza cornuto, polpette della nonna and the rucola salad. i personally didn't like the meatball, it felt too soft but the sauce was lovely! the pizza was amazing, thin, flavoursome. my favourite would have to be the pizza san daniele.

we were looking for somewhere to pop in and we noticed thisplacewas packed which is always a good sign.

the service was a little average but that’s to be expected when aplaceis busy and when the food came out that was all forgotten.

the lasagna was tasty and the pizza crunchy. most importantly; everything was nice and fresh.

the chilli oil in my photos was great on top of the food we had and there’s a little shop where you can buy produce and products if you want.

i’m a big fan of the d.o.c that is located in carlton. so when i was in the mornington area, and see a d.o.c nearby, i immediately have my dinner here. i expect the same taste as the one in carlton. but it was just sooo much different.

when visiting d.o.c, i always ordered the same set of menu. spinach salad with tuna, and pizza ai porcini.

in this d.o.c, i am very disappointed with the spinach salad. the spinach was not crunchy. the salad dressing (green pesto) was very plain, lack of taste, and was not generous on the dressing. the tuna was also not that many, compared to the one i’ve ordered in the carlton d.o.c.

the pizza ai porcini here was alright. although they can be more generous in giving the truffle oil to give it more taste.

however, what i like about the d.o.c in mornington is the spaciousplaceand also the small shop that they have selling italian product. they sell wide range of italian produced food, from cheese, wine, fresh made pasta, instant pasta, to jams, candy, beer, and soda. i bought some italian jams before returning home.

came here in a super busy sunday night , took half hour to get seat…pizza is typical neapolitan style which is my favourite。 i think thisplaceis one of top italian restaurants around, has excellent rapport with both local residents and tourists。there are many products origin from italy you can purchase ， including wine ，drink ，different variety of pasta， snacks……greatplaceto try ， definitely come back。

dropped in for lunch on a sunday and theplacewas pumping. didn't have to wait long for a table, staff were very helpful considering there was six of us. we rated the beer list. food was good and the service was excellent throughout. it gets very loud, but that's to be expected considering how busy theplaceis.
thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend to others looking for italian treats in the area.

trendy, popular place. it’s mainly pizza here and worth looking at the menu before coming. not many vegetarian options and i think it wouldn’t be theplaceto go with my friends who are gluten free. only a few pastas to choose from unfortunately.
communal tables give a casual feel.

best pizza i've had! thisplacewas very authentic italian, such a great restaurant and the workers look like they really enjoy themselves. i'd definitely come back and if you're looking for authentic italy food this is theplaceto go

went here last night with a group of friends and we were all very impressed. the service was extremely friendly & the food was delicious. i have tried many gf pizza bases and i can now say that this was the best one that i have had. the food came out fast which was good considering how busy theplacewas. fantastic food, drinks and service, what more could you ask for. will definitely be returning and recommending to others!!

thisplacewas super busy so we had to wait for table. while we were waiting we checked out their food store. very impressiveplacelots of goodies to especially salumi meats.... once we were seated it didn't take long for us to order. their pizzas are so good. the dough is homemade and their toppings are fresh and all gourmet. their coffee are pretty good here too. will bring family and friends here to all enjoy...

such a great little cosyplacein mornington. lovely staff super cosy. great wine selection with great pizza options. thin crust traditional pizza was very much enjoyable.
