my favorite dish at dizzy's. i wholeheartedly attest to the reuben prepared bydizzy'sgypsy bistro. after enjoying a buffet dinner for a holiday gathering at dizzys' i still ordered the reuben as my guilty pleasure overrode my common sense. the cuisine, ambiance and uptown feel combine for a special time to enjoy. keep up the great work and especially the care that goes into what dizzys' is all about.

bland burger, big, but boring. i've been todizzy'sfor a fun visit a few times over the years, but i was very disappointed by their burger today. it was too big to comfortably eat and had a patty that tasted like dry meatloaf. they also had an attitude when i asked for bacon on the burger and said they never serve bacon. - - epic fail- - why, oh why would a restaurant choose to skip the most wonderful ingredient, bacon? of course, they do have it on one of their dishes, but when i asked the server she said those are pre-made bacon bits. does that sound good to anyone?

uniquely wonderful :). i have been eating atdizzy'sfor years (started my love affair when they were in benton and then stalked them in their move to little rock's old vermillion water grille location). through the years i have experienced their evolution of food, atmosphere and eccentricity.dizzy'sis a force to be reckoned with and never ceases to satisfy event the pickiest of appetites. their food quality is impeccable, their presentation is polished without being ostentatious and their service is unmatched in the full-service arena. fortunately, sites like urbanspoon provide an open forum for commoners like myself to provide review(s) of independently owned restaraunts like dizzy's. these types of reviews are the "bread and butter" (no pun intended) of small restaurants and can absolutely impact the public's perception of their worthiness as a dining choice. unfortunately, reviews like the one posted by "lrgirl", while an outlier when compared to all of the other gleaming reviews, can have a very negative effect. using such laden connotations as "slop", ''lumpy'' and "porridge" while coupled with blatant misinformation (they have never served ice cream) smells a bit like mild slander. so...if you aren't from 'round here and you don't know how to properly provide a negative and tactful review, then stick to your western sizzlin' outings and spare us your nitwitted rants. thanks ~ and here's to dizzy's!!!!

your gain. my hat is off todizzy'sgypsy bistro, when they left benton they managed to improve on perfection. they serve the best cheese dip in the rivermarket, there staff still full service and impeckable, and the atomsphere totally comfortable and relaxing, espically the patio, this time of the year. so worth the trip from benton to the rivermarket for a meal with our old friends from benton.

try the rueben. this is the best rueben in little rock. i remember the reuben sandwich at arkansas fats 40 years ago and untildizzy'scame to little rock, i searched in vain to recreate that glorius experience. moist, great corned beef, great dressing. get the rueben, you'll thank me.

love this place!.dizzy'sis my family's favorite place to go. you're greeted with a smile (and a hug if you've been there a few times), the atosphere is comfortable, and the food is superb! there is something for everyone on the menu. everything is fresh! not only is the food good and the atmosphere inviting; but the owner, darla, makes it a point to always give back to her community and serve the greater good. support small business and eat at dizzy's!

love it, love it, love it!.dizzy'sgypsy bistro isn't a new restaurant to central arkansas, but it is a new addition to downtown little rock. the gorgeous, covered patio at the front of the restaurant allows you to enjoy lunch, happy hour or dinner outside regardless of the weather. the inside of the restaurant is eclectic and decorated with fabulous art work and funky chandeliers. it's always tough for me to pick a table inside or out.
i can't get enough ofdizzy'sfood and their extensive menu allows me to try something new every time i am there. here are a couple of my suggestions:
the spinach/artichoke dip is amazingly rich and creamy and a great appetizer for the entire table as it's served in an oversized bowl.
mary ann's dream-forever young salad is phenomenal--the salad is always fresh, crisp and my summer salad of choice. i love the cranberries, mandarin oranges and bourbon pecans that come on the salad.
have a sweet tooth? then you have to check out the daily desserts--ask your server what they have. the wedding cake is my go-to dessert--it's wonderful! i'll even admit having gone todizzy'sjust for a glass of wine and piece of wedding cake. it's worth every calorie!
i'd suggestdizzy'sgypsy bistro any day of the week! see ya there!

i have been going todizzy'ssince i was a kid and it was located in benton, ar. i love their spinach and artichoke dip, adam carter's sicilian dip, and their hot and melty gooey butter cake.  james was our server tonight and he was very upbeat, helpful, and attentive. great food, great artsy atmosphere, great service!

don't go if you want good service. my daughter and her friends decided to celebrate a birthday saturday night at dizzy's. let's just say they will not be going back. the male waiter continued to ignore the group, probably because they were not over 30 and he was not expecting a large tip....or because it was a part of 10 and his "automatic gratuity" was automatically calculated in the final bill. the server continued to ignore simple dining courtesies such as refilling drinks, water and rudely ignored any questions from the group. after trying to get the attention of the server for over 20 minutes, my daughter had to flag down the manager to attempt to pay the bill and then actually get their change once paid. it's too bad this restaurant does not value the experience of diners of all ages, especially ones who can ruin a restaurant with the new social media avenues our there to spread the word of a horrible experience.
steer clear little rock.dizzy'sis not the customer friendly place for you.

great burger. on my second visit todizzy'sfor lunch i tried the half pound mushroom-swiss burger and it was wonderful. cooked perfectly, lots of flavor, good quality meat and definitely a meal! good fries as well. i plan to keep coming back and working my way down the menu.

the most unique place i've found in lr. i had lunch here today for the first time and truly enjoyed it. there's a nicely screened patio for outdoor dining on nice days; a good sized bar area just inside and then a large dining room in back. the place is full of bright, vibrant colors, wonderful contemporary art and great music as a backdrop. the menu covers a wide cross-section of cuisines so there's something for everyone. i chose the little house salad with balsamic and it was quite good. i also had the black bean and chicken soup--as a soup lover i found this to be a great recipe i've never had before and look forward to having again. service was excellent and i liked everything about the place.

really disappointed. been todizzy'sgypsy twice. the first time was good. but the second time, just last saturday night, was genuinely awful. the bartender did not know how to make a simple margarita...and swore rudely and well within earshot when it was returned. the replacement had virtually no tequila in it. i waited a long time for my walleye which was only fair and the pasta dish was served cold. yup. cold. our server was great but so rushed and we were so freaking disappointed and surprised that we paid and left. the live music is a great idea but was really loud...and for me to say that, it must've been loud. i really, really want to like dgb. but i'll think twice before going back...
