my favorite dish at dizzy's. i wholeheartedly attest to the reuben prepared by dizzy's gypsy bistro. after enjoying a buffet dinner for a holiday gathering at dizzys' i still ordered the reuben as my guilty pleasure overrode my common sense. the cuisine, ambiance and uptown feel combine for a special time to enjoy. keep up the great work and especially the care that goes into what dizzys' is all about.

bland burger, big, but boring. i've been to dizzy's for a fun visit a few times over the years, but i was very disappointed by their burger today. it was too big to comfortably eat and had a patty that tasted like dry meatloaf. they also had an attitude when i asked for bacon on the burger and said they never serve bacon. - - epic fail- - why, oh why would a restaurant choose to skip the most wonderful ingredient, bacon? of course, they do have it on one of their dishes, but when i asked the server she said those are pre-made bacon bits. does that sound good to anyone?

stout@up-link.net. this place is awesome! we (in benton) hated to see dizzy's relocate to lr. we have eaten several times in lr and still love everything about the resturant. our loss if lr's gain!!

great location, bad food. dirty outdoor seat cushions, and food that is mediocre at best. i have tried this restaurant multiple times and still come away without a desire to go back. love the location as i live around the corner. the menu is tired and the food just isn't very good.

uniquely wonderful :). i have been eating at dizzy's for years (started my love affair when they were in benton and then stalked them in their move to little rock's old vermillion water grille location). through the years i have experienced their evolution of food, atmosphere and eccentricity. dizzy's is a force to be reckoned with and never ceases to satisfy event the pickiest of appetites. their food quality is impeccable, their presentation is polished without being ostentatious and their service is unmatched in the full-service arena. fortunately, sites like urbanspoon provide an open forum for commoners like myself to provide review(s) of independently owned restaraunts like dizzy's. these types of reviews are the "bread and butter" (no pun intended) of small restaurants and can absolutely impact the public's perception of their worthiness as a dining choice. unfortunately, reviews like the one posted by "lrgirl", while an outlier when compared to all of the other gleaming reviews, can have a very negative effect. using such laden connotations as "slop", ''lumpy'' and "porridge" while coupled with blatant misinformation (they have never served ice cream) smells a bit like mild slander. so...if you aren't from 'round here and you don't know how to properly provide a negative and tactful review, then stick to your western sizzlin' outings and spare us your nitwitted rants. thanks ~ and here's to dizzy's!!!!

your gain. my hat is off to dizzy's gypsy bistro, when they left benton they managed to improve on perfection. they serve the best cheese dip in the rivermarket, there staff still full service and impeckable, and the atomsphere totally comfortable and relaxing, espically the patio, this time of the year. so worth the trip from benton to the rivermarket for a meal with our old friends from benton.

try the rueben. this is the best rueben in little rock. i remember the reuben sandwich at arkansas fats 40 years ago and until dizzy's came to little rock, i searched in vain to recreate that glorius experience. moist, great corned beef, great dressing. get the rueben, you'll thank me.

love this place!. dizzy's is my family's favorite place to go. you're greeted with a smile (and a hug if you've been there a few times), the atosphere is comfortable, and the food is superb! there is something for everyone on the menu. everything is fresh! not only is the food good and the atmosphere inviting; but the owner, darla, makes it a point to always give back to her community and serve the greater good. support small business and eat at dizzy's!

awesome food. i travel a lot, so its important to find a place that you know the food is consistantly good and the atmosphere is friendly. that's what dizzy's is. they make you feel welcome. the menu selection is great and the food is always delicious. never had a meal that i didn't enjoy. did i mention the friendly staff? i eat there on every trip to little rock.

dizzy's is great for downtown little rock.. if you can call a salad savory, then it is here. great burgers with fresh avocado, the best reuben in town, and kitchen-sink-size salads.

i start things off with the ciabata bread basket and whipped butter and then usually head on over to the jack, pico and guac burger. my favorite salad is the greek salad, with black olives, artichoke hearts, 3 cheeses and grilled chicken.

love it, love it, love it!. dizzy's gypsy bistro isn't a new restaurant to central arkansas, but it is a new addition to downtown little rock. the gorgeous, covered patio at the front of the restaurant allows you to enjoy lunch, happy hour or dinner outside regardless of the weather. the inside of the restaurant is eclectic and decorated with fabulous art work and funky chandeliers. it's always tough for me to pick a table inside or out.
i can't get enough of dizzy's food and their extensive menu allows me to try something new every time i am there. here are a couple of my suggestions:
the spinach/artichoke dip is amazingly rich and creamy and a great appetizer for the entire table as it's served in an oversized bowl.
mary ann's dream-forever young salad is phenomenal--the salad is always fresh, crisp and my summer salad of choice. i love the cranberries, mandarin oranges and bourbon pecans that come on the salad.
have a sweet tooth? then you have to check out the daily desserts--ask your server what they have. the wedding cake is my go-to dessert--it's wonderful! i'll even admit having gone to dizzy's just for a glass of wine and piece of wedding cake. it's worth every calorie!
i'd suggest dizzy's gypsy bistro any day of the week! see ya there!
