a great place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner outside during good weather and even if you are sitting indoors. the decoration is great, the location over bosporus, in the classy area of bebek and the high class customers. the waiters are very helpful and professional.
for starters, the fried seafood and vegetables is highly recommended. the crispy sliced vegetables (zucchini, eggplants) with well salted and fried calamari and shrimps; makes it the perfect starter.
we focused on the divan classics for the main dish and went for yoghurt kabab. meatballs and beef slices over cubes of bread, topped with plain yoghurt. it is good but wont say the beat i've had. needs some potato touch to it.
the hunkar begendi was a better choice. the meat stew is so tender and full of flavor on top of a well marinated eggplant puree. maybe a bit heavy if not having bread next to it.
the experience, view, consumer mix, service and atmosphere are the main reasons for me to fo again and again. not only for the food (although was good).
