daniel's

we shared an appetizer and then also shared two entrée meals of the chicken parmesan and cajun shrimp pasta. the staff at daniel’s was so friendly and really took good care of us. they knew it was our anniversary, so for dessert they treated to us a huge tiramisu dessert that even had “happy anniversary” written around the edge with chocolate sauce! we had a greattimeat dinner laughing and talking about our lives over the past 8 years (we’ve actually been together for 10 years). after dinner we did a few errands before we picked up the boys.

i have been a daniels fanboy for as long as i have lived in the triangle area. went there after a longtime... service is sub par ... the server did not bother to bring the bees basket and i needed to ask for it ... he came out with a basket with 3 little bread ... he paid little or no attention to details ... empty water glass , no straws ... food was okay but i have had better ... have to think twice before going back again. hope management is taking note @danielsapex

food is good , service lacking. i agree with other posts . the food is delicious especially if you want good italian . but everytimewe go there we get the same blond haired waitress that doesn't care . it's been years now ..come on owners ...must be related or something !!

the best. i had the mushroom ravioli the lasttimei went there and it was the best italian dish i've ever had. i've had other dishes previously but i won't forget about the mushroom ravioli!

superb!!. tried 'em for the firsttimea couple of mos ago and was absolutely delighted! really neat atmosphere, superb service at all points, great pizza, and reasonable prices. and i should know good pizza - my nickname is "pizzaman" - why my groom's cake was even a pizza - true story!

more on the service. from the moment i called to make reservations, the young fellow who helped me couldn't have been more polite or accommodating. then our server? scott was truly the best server we've had in years, perhaps even ever, and we eat out a bunch. then the owner, daniel, stopped by and couldn't have been a more pleasant guy either, real down to earth and easy to talk to. from start to finish, you can tell this guy loves his restaurant and his people, and it shows.

great for couples to be sure, but tweens and teens will love it too, we took our 12yo daughter and she really enjoyed it too.

i have gone to daniel's many times before and had excellent service. however, the lasttimei was there the hostess was incredibly rude and had to wait 45 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. people who arrived after us were seated before us. terrible experience. i have no plans to return and would rather dine at establishments where customers are valued.

they rushed us!. while i love the food at daniels, the lasttimei was there the waiter did his best to try to rush us. it was girls night out, we planned on a long relaxing dinner and a couple bottles of wine. the waiter actually got annoyed that we weren't hurrying our dinner. we took ourtimemaking up our minds, and talking. we hadn't gotten halfway through the appetizer and he brought our entrees. that is just wrong, you don't put in the dinner order in to the kitchen until the appetizers are almost finished. not everyone wants to eat and run, many of us plan to have a leisurely dinner and talk at one of our favorite places.

the food was good, but next time, we will not order the entrees until we are done with the appetizers.

delicious italian food. i love daniel's. it's a convenient location, has friendly staff and a wide variety of menu items as well as an extensive wine list. my friends and i try to get something new everytimewe visit. try it--you won't be disappointed.

disappointment. i took my in-laws from ny here - big mistake - i thought it looked like a nice italian place. the food was not tasty at all - the pasta was watery and the fish had a strong fishy taste. my in-laws only took a few bites. the staff seemed indifferent - it took a longtimeto get seated as well. not recommended.

great place. we had some family come in town for the holidays and decided to eat out their first night here. we have been to daniel's many times before but it has only been my family so we were a bit leary to go there with 10 people but decided to give it a try. it was amazing how accomodating they were! the service and food was excellent and everything came out together and was actually hot. we've been other places where everything comes out plate by plate and the first person's is cold by thetimethe last person gets their's but not here! the variety of the dishes was also a benefit for our large group because everyone was able to find something they liked... actually i should say loved! i couldn't have asked for a better night and we were actually talking about going back one moretimebefore everyone left. haha.
