great italian!. have enjoyeddaniel'stwice while visiting the area -- great food, hospitable staff (esp with young'uns); the pizza was about at new york as you'll find in the south -- nice crisp crust, flavorful. on our short list of apex eateries!

lasagna!!. if you never try anything else, you have to trydaniel'slasagna - fantastic! guarantee you will not go home hungry. calamari is great. service good. we enjoy this place.

i have gone todaniel'smany times before and had excellent service. however, the last time i was there the hostess was incredibly rude and had to wait 45 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. people who arrived after us were seated before us. terrible experience. i have no plans to return and would rather dine at establishments where customers are valued.

one of my favorite places.daniel'salways excels. i spent part of my youth in nj, going to school with kids name palmeri, santangelo, russo and castiglione, so i have had some exposure to italian cuisine. my wife lived in philly for six years as well. we eat atdaniel'sbecause it is just genuinely good italian food.

the atmosphere is also wonderful. i have spent a romantic night out with my wife there and just last week had a birthday dinner for my nine-year-old son on the patio. service is always excellent - attentive without being intrusive - and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food.

the fettucini daniel is my favorite and the mushroom ravioli is a solid second. one warning: it is hard not to fill up on the bread they bring out.

great catering!. our company usesdaniel'sfor our annual halloween party - for 3 years now and they are excellent! food is delicious - they prepare and take down everything. never a single complaint from anyone on the food or preparation! zero complaints from 80 people is definitely proof of quality.

great place. we had some family come in town for the holidays and decided to eat out their first night here. we have been todaniel'smany times before but it has only been my family so we were a bit leary to go there with 10 people but decided to give it a try. it was amazing how accomodating they were! the service and food was excellent and everything came out together and was actually hot. we've been other places where everything comes out plate by plate and the first person's is cold by the time the last person gets their's but not here! the variety of the dishes was also a benefit for our large group because everyone was able to find something they liked... actually i should say loved! i couldn't have asked for a better night and we were actually talking about going back one more time before everyone left. haha.

very good, but... my wife and i have enjoyeddaniel'squite a bit. i will say that there have been a few occasions that i have been one of us is less than satisfied with a meal, however we have gone back. in one of the cases, my wife did request something else. she was treated curtiously and was happy with her second order. i think we have resolved ourselves to ordering what we know we like.
