daniel's

i have been a daniels fanboy for as long as i have lived in the triangle area. went there after a long time ...serviceis sub par ... the server did not bother to bring the bees basket and i needed to ask for it ... he came out with a basket with 3 little bread ... he paid little or no attention to details ... empty water glass , no straws ... food was okay but i have had better ... have to think twice before going back again. hope management is taking note @danielsapex

eeeh. just ok ; pricey. im not one to write another review but when i'm spending my $$$ i kinda like a little genuine courtesy .as a former business owner i hate to see a once" gem" fall flat on its face . but why ?? daniels just doesn't hit the mark on food and appears to be going through the motions on ambience too .
i do want to give a shout out to the outdoor patio ; very nice .
last night the manager literally breezed through the dining room asking each table if everything was okay and before you could get pass the customary "good " she was on to next table . we were gonna elaborate but she was gone !
it wouldn't have bothered me but the place needed cleaning and when we left manager and several employees were standing around at bar gossiping ! tacky !

dont bother !. we went on super bowl sunday since we have had sub parservicein the past . our food was just average ,don't know why the hype ?? (bread basket kinda stale ends ) andserviceagain forgotten about . it took forever for us to place our order even though it was not busy . go figure ! numerous dirty tables also . maybe short staffed .?

food is good ,servicelacking. i agree with other posts . the food is delicious especially if you want good italian . but every time we go there we get the same blond haired waitress that doesn't care . it's been years now ..come on owners ...must be related or something !!

food is very good, butservicehas been lacking on the last three visits. the parking situation is atrocious due to the popularity of this restaurant. recently i was supposed to meet a group of friends there on a tuesday evening, and after four passes around the parking lot and investigating alternate parking at the gas station and car dealership nearby, i finally gave up and went elsewhere to have dinner by myself. later learned that the restaurant suggests parking across highway 55 at a bank. this is idiocy at rush-hour, as you would take your life in your hands crossing hwy 55. doubt that i will go back, unless it's for a very early dinner on saturday or sunday.

great italian! theservicewas not so good but the food was. huge portions. loved the calamari appetizer. worth a try!

superb!!. tried 'em for the first time a couple of mos ago and was absolutely delighted! really neat atmosphere, superbserviceat all points, great pizza, and reasonable prices. and i should know good pizza - my nickname is "pizzaman" - why my groom's cake was even a pizza - true story!

more on the service. from the moment i called to make reservations, the young fellow who helped me couldn't have been more polite or accommodating. then our server? scott was truly the best server we've had in years, perhaps even ever, and we eat out a bunch. then the owner, daniel, stopped by and couldn't have been a more pleasant guy either, real down to earth and easy to talk to. from start to finish, you can tell this guy loves his restaurant and his people, and it shows.

great for couples to be sure, but tweens and teens will love it too, we took our 12yo daughter and she really enjoyed it too.

always good. love this place! the food is always great,serviceis good, and i have never had any complaints about this place. love, love, love the baked ziti, but everything is great!

if you like garlic with a "heavy hand", this is the place to go. food is great,serviceis good.

lasagna!!. if you never try anything else, you have to try daniel's lasagna - fantastic! guarantee you will not go home hungry. calamari is great.servicegood. we enjoy this place.

lunch salads to small. need more salad for the price. bread is good .serviceis good.

one of my favorite places. daniel's always excels. i spent part of my youth in nj, going to school with kids name palmeri, santangelo, russo and castiglione, so i have had some exposure to italian cuisine. my wife lived in philly for six years as well. we eat at daniel's because it is just genuinely good italian food.

the atmosphere is also wonderful. i have spent a romantic night out with my wife there and just last week had a birthday dinner for my nine-year-old son on the patio.serviceis always excellent - attentive without being intrusive - and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food.

the fettucini daniel is my favorite and the mushroom ravioli is a solid second. one warning: it is hard not to fill up on the bread they bring out.

great place. we had some family come in town for the holidays and decided to eat out their first night here. we have been to daniel's many times before but it has only been my family so we were a bit leary to go there with 10 people but decided to give it a try. it was amazing how accomodating they were! theserviceand food was excellent and everything came out together and was actually hot. we've been other places where everything comes out plate by plate and the first person's is cold by the time the last person gets their's but not here! the variety of the dishes was also a benefit for our large group because everyone was able to find something they liked... actually i should say loved! i couldn't have asked for a better night and we were actually talking about going back one more time before everyone left. haha.
