i have been a daniels fanboy for as long as i have lived in the triangle area. went there after a long time ... service is sub par ... the server did not bother to bring the bees basket and i needed to ask for it ... he came out with a basket with 3 little bread ... he paid little or no attention to details ... empty water glass , no straws ...foodwas okay but i have had better ... have to think twice before going back again. hope management is taking note @danielsapex

eeeh. just ok ; pricey. im not one to write another review but when i'm spending my $$$ i kinda like a little genuine courtesy .as a former business owner i hate to see a once" gem" fall flat on its face . but why ?? daniels just doesn't hit the mark onfoodand appears to be going through the motions on ambience too .
i do want to give a shout out to the outdoor patio ; very nice .
last night the manager literally breezed through the dining room asking each table if everything was okay and before you could get pass the customary "good " she was on to next table . we were gonna elaborate but she was gone !
it wouldn't have bothered me but the place needed cleaning and when we left manager and several employees were standing around at bar gossiping ! tacky !

dont bother !. we went on super bowl sunday since we have had sub par service in the past . ourfoodwas just average ,don't know why the hype ?? (bread basket kinda stale ends ) and service again forgotten about . it took forever for us to place our order even though it was not busy . go figure ! numerous dirty tables also . maybe short staffed .?

food is good , service lacking. i agree with other posts . thefoodis delicious especially if you want good italian . but every time we go there we get the same blond haired waitress that doesn't care . it's been years now ..come on owners ...must be related or something !!

call in---leave me hanging. spent literally 11 minutes on hold before they answered again. i drove halfway across town while on hold. eventually got my order, greatfoodas usual, but they really need to work on service!

great italian! the service was not so good but thefoodwas. huge portions. loved the calamari appetizer. worth a try!

delicious! pricey but thefoodis fantastic. i have gone there numerous times and the quality of thefoodis unbeatable.

always good. love this place! thefoodis always great, service is good, and i have never had any complaints about this place. love, love, love the baked ziti, but everything is great!

if you like garlic with a "heavy hand", this is the place to go.foodis great, service is good.

we really enjoyed our visit to daniels. people were friendly and thefoodbeautiful. i suggest you get out and try a new restaurant. i recommend daniels:-)

they rushed us!. while i love thefoodat daniels, the last time i was there the waiter did his best to try to rush us. it was girls night out, we planned on a long relaxing dinner and a couple bottles of wine. the waiter actually got annoyed that we weren't hurrying our dinner. we took our time making up our minds, and talking. we hadn't gotten halfway through the appetizer and he brought our entrees. that is just wrong, you don't put in the dinner order in to the kitchen until the appetizers are almost finished. not everyone wants to eat and run, many of us plan to have a leisurely dinner and talk at one of our favorite places.

thefoodwas good, but next time, we will not order the entrees until we are done with the appetizers.

a bit over rated. the food.... thefoodis average to good but inconsistent. seems to be some potential there but..something is missing from this place. i think it's a bit over rated.

fantastic!. thefoodis consistently great, the waitstaff and management are always attentive. the specials highlight their strengths. the desserts are great and reflect flavors of the season. my only let down is the lack of true gluten-free options.

great catering!. our company uses daniel's for our annual halloween party - for 3 years now and they are excellent!foodis delicious - they prepare and take down everything. never a single complaint from anyone on thefoodor preparation! zero complaints from 80 people is definitely proof of quality.

disappointment. i took my in-laws from ny here - big mistake - i thought it looked like a nice italian place. thefoodwas not tasty at all - the pasta was watery and the fish had a strong fishy taste. my in-laws only took a few bites. the staff seemed indifferent - it took a long time to get seated as well. not recommended.
