one of my favorite places. daniel's always excels. i spent part of my youth in nj, going to school with kids name palmeri, santangelo, russo and castiglione, so i have had some exposure toitaliancuisine. my wife lived in philly for six years as well. we eat at daniel's because it is just genuinely gooditalianfood.
the atmosphere is also wonderful. i have spent a romantic night out with my wife there and just last week had a birthday dinner for my nine-year-old son on the patio. service is always excellent - attentive without being intrusive - and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food.
the fettucini daniel is my favorite and the mushroom ravioli is a solid second. one warning: it is hard not to fill up on the bread they bring out.
