one place i have gone to many times since we moved to the triangle region...you will immediate start to smell the garlic. yes, this is a greatitalianrestaurant. daniel’s has been around for many years and it holds a special place in my heart because we held our rehearsal dinner here in 1998. (you do the math!) daniel’s is a rather large restaurant, yet has an intimate feel to it.

food is good , service lacking. i agree with other posts . the food is delicious especially if you want gooditalian. but every time we go there we get the same blond haired waitress that doesn't care . it's been years now ..come on owners ...must be related or something !!

the atmosphere was very nice. staff was pleasant. theitalianherb bread & marinara was excellent. we enjoyed the crab cakes caesar salad & chicken parmesan. our friends seemed to also enjoy their selections.

we were glad we had reservations as they were busy (saturday evening). also the parking was very tight. they serve only pepsi products & the only diet selection was diet pepsi. overall we enjoyed dinner & will return.

a little loud but then again it's casualitalianso that's a part of the atmosphere. calamari decent but a little too much batter. the entrees were divine!

one of my favorite places. daniel's always excels. i spent part of my youth in nj, going to school with kids name palmeri, santangelo, russo and castiglione, so i have had some exposure toitaliancuisine. my wife lived in philly for six years as well. we eat at daniel's because it is just genuinely gooditalianfood.

the atmosphere is also wonderful. i have spent a romantic night out with my wife there and just last week had a birthday dinner for my nine-year-old son on the patio. service is always excellent - attentive without being intrusive - and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food.

the fettucini daniel is my favorite and the mushroom ravioli is a solid second. one warning: it is hard not to fill up on the bread they bring out.

deliciousitalianfood. i love daniel's. it's a convenient location, has friendly staff and a wide variety of menu items as well as an extensive wine list. my friends and i try to get something new every time we visit. try it--you won't be disappointed.

disappointment. i took my in-laws from ny here - big mistake - i thought it looked like a niceitalianplace. the food was not tasty at all - the pasta was watery and the fish had a strong fishy taste. my in-laws only took a few bites. the staff seemed indifferent - it took a long time to get seated as well. not recommended.

terrificitalianrestaurant. nothing special about the menu...fairly typical menu fare, but the food was excellent. free breadsticks and marinara sauce were yummy. i had the fried calarmari in spicy marinara sauce and my wife had a mixed salad. both were fairly priced, considering that the portions were huge. would definitely come back.
