daniel's

dinner. i have dinner here a few times now and take out. not good at all, this place used to be soo good, now its just ok on a good night there. i miss the way this restaurant used to be, they are amazing delicious food, now not recommended.

a diamond in the rough for sure don't be thrown off by its neighboring exxon the food is great

we shared an appetizer and then also shared two entrée meals of the chicken parmesan and cajun shrimp pasta. the staff at daniel’s was so friendly and really took good care of us. they knew it was our anniversary, so for dessert they treated to us a huge tiramisu dessert that even had “happy anniversary” written around the edge with chocolate sauce! we had a great time at dinner laughing and talking about our lives over the past 8 years (we’ve actually been together for 10 years). after dinner we did a few errands before we picked up the boys.

great experience. portobello mushrooms, seafood diavolo, omg peanut butter pie. excellent service. will be back soon.

i have been a daniels fanboy for as long as i have lived in the triangle area. went there after a long time ... service is sub par ... the server did not bother to bring the bees basket and i needed to ask for it ... he came out with a basket with 3 little bread ... he paid little or no attention to details ... empty water glass , no straws ... food was okay but i have had better ... have to think twice before going back again. hope management is taking note @danielsapex

eeeh. just ok ; pricey. im not one to write another review but when i'm spending my $$$ i kinda like a little genuine courtesy .as a former business owner i hate to see a once" gem" fall flat on its face . but why ?? daniels just doesn't hit the mark on food and appears to be going through the motions on ambience too .
i do want to give a shout out to the outdoor patio ; very nice .
last night the manager literally breezed through the dining room asking each table if everything was okay and before you could get pass the customary "good " she was on to next table . we were gonna elaborate but she was gone !
it wouldn't have bothered me but the place needed cleaning and when we left manager and several employees were standing around at bar gossiping ! tacky !

dont bother !. we went on super bowl sunday since we have had sub par service in the past . our food was just average ,don't know why the hype ?? (bread basket kinda stale ends ) and service again forgotten about . it took forever for us to place our order even though it was not busy . go figure ! numerous dirty tables also . maybe short staffed .?

add goat-cheese as a topping to your pizza. it is ahh-mazing! just add
goat-cheese to everything. yummm!

one place i have gone to many times since we moved to the triangle region...you will immediate start to smell the garlic. yes, this is a great italian restaurant. daniel’s has been around for many years and it holds a special place in my heart because we held our rehearsal dinner here in 1998. (you do the math!) daniel’s is a rather large restaurant, yet has an intimate feel to it.

food is good , service lacking. i agree with other posts . the food is delicious especially if you want good italian . but every time we go there we get the same blond haired waitress that doesn't care . it's been years now ..come on owners ...must be related or something !!

food is very good, but service has been lacking on the last three visits. the parking situation is atrocious due to the popularity of this restaurant. recently i was supposed to meet a group of friends there on a tuesday evening, and after four passes around the parking lot and investigating alternate parking at the gas station and car dealership nearby, i finally gave up and went elsewhere to have dinner by myself. later learned that the restaurant suggests parking across highway 55 at a bank. this is idiocy at rush-hour, as you would take your life in your hands crossing hwy 55. doubt that i will go back, unless it's for a very early dinner on saturday or sunday.

call in---leave me hanging. spent literally 11 minutes on hold before they answered again. i drove halfway across town while on hold. eventually got my order, great food as usual, but they really need to work on service!

great italian! the service was not so good but the food was. huge portions. loved the calamari appetizer. worth a try!

great italian!. have enjoyed daniel's twice while visiting the area -- great food, hospitable staff (esp with young'uns); the pizza was about at new york as you'll find in the south -- nice crisp crust, flavorful. on our short list of apex eateries!

the best. i had the mushroom ravioli the last time i went there and it was the best italian dish i've ever had. i've had other dishes previously but i won't forget about the mushroom ravioli!

my pasta dish comes out and it’s a large portion of al dente pasta with flecks of parsley, pieces of pungent sun-dried tomatoes, sauteed chicken and spinach. i don’t think daniel’s does home-made pasta but they use a good-quality commercial version that’s cooked just right. paired with the creamy sauce and tasty chicken and veggies, it’s an excellent meal and i save some to take home. otherwise it would be lights out at work for the afternoon!
