i eat here for breakfast, great food great atmosphere; if i'm going out to breakfast, this is where i am. i think they should put one on the boardwalk: breakfast with a view!

major wayne earl evans. a+ food and service. friendly efficient and most flexible and accommodating. best breakfast diner in florida. i have 2 time shares in daytona and i have breakfast at the cracked egg every morning and i proudly wear their very cool t shirt.

food tastes good, and came quickly. but you can't make up a measly serving of scrambled eggs (i asked, "...are you sure this is 3 eggs?...") by giving extra potatoes. disappointed, for sure.

best kept secret in daytona beach, fl. so glad we found you on the hotel provided map. your food is delicious, your menu varied, your service excellent, & your establishment was fun! it was a great experience during our little getaway in february 2014.

humble.. the diner is real small and not the prettiest of the bunch, also the service is not always the greatest, but the food is satisfactory and nice on the wallet. i enjoy eating here from time to time.

went here based on urbanspoon reviews. awesome place. will go back for breakfast tomorrow. pancakes were huge. apple fritters were inspirational. fresh local food like you cooked at home except someone else did it for you and did it well! highly recommended.

i would post a picture, but we cleaned our plates!

dang....we are here years ago and it is even better. m had eggs, bacon, hash browns and kielbasa. i choose the southern scramble (i would have ordered the chunky monkey pancakes, but i need to stay awake). holly smokes! that was good. prob the best gravy i’ve ever had...sorry grandma in heaven....it was the best.

it may be another ten years, but i’ll be back. great food and service makes a great combo.

p.s. i should have tried the fritters!

we ordered the veggie omlette, which was not only bland but watery as most of the veggies were overripe tomatoes. the coffee wasn't good either...not an experience i'd ever repeat.

great staff and best breakfast for many many miles!!! corned beef hash is the best ever!!! always busy for a reason. do yourself a favor and get over there right away!

loved this cute little diner atmosphere. the 2-2-2 was delicious! everyone was polite and very friendly. definitely worth a try if you are visiting.

we ate at the cracked egg for the 1st time and will return. the apple fritters are outrageous - hot from the fryer and covered in cinnamon sugar. the corned beef was excellent. the portions huge. the servers were friendly, attentive and appeared to love what they do. we would recommend the cracked egg to any breakfast lover.
