major wayne earl evans. a+ food and service. friendly efficient and most flexible and accommodating. best breakfast diner in florida. i have 2 time shares in daytona and i have breakfast at the crackedeggevery morning and i proudly wear their very cool t shirt.

we ate at the crackedeggfor the 1st time and will return. the apple fritters are outrageous - hot from the fryer and covered in cinnamon sugar. the corned beef was excellent. the portions huge. the servers were friendly, attentive and appeared to love what they do. we would recommend the crackedeggto any breakfast lover.

great food and great price. my husband and i visited the crackedeggdiner after reading the reviews on urbanspoon. the food was wonderful, the portions were large, and the price was great. i ordered the veggie omelet and it was spectacular. the waitress was very sweet. the restaurant is very clean. i highly recommend eating at the crackedeggdiner. you will not be disappointed.

breakfast for two. my wife had the fried apple fritters and i had the cheese and ham omelet. the omelet was cooked about right and tasted o.k, but there was not enougheggto really seal the ham & cheese. the omelet was also greaser than i like. the fritters were hot and good. the service was slow, not enough staff. my wife had to wait a long time for a coffee refill. overall, this diner is an average three star.

if you're wanting something quick don't come here. the whole experience was awesome. from one of the owners working the front to the taste of the food...mamosas to friendly servers...the crackedeggdoes breakfast on vacation right!

crackedeggis the best. we ate here twice while on vacation, and i'm upset we didn't go every day. quite possibly the best breakfast diner on the planet. quick service, friendly staff, amazing flavor, and huge portions. if you're staying nearby, this is where you need to go! we had the eggs chesapeake and i can't remember the other dish. it was 2 biscuits topped with eggs, home fries, and sausage gravy. we also got a side of the corn beef hash (both days), and that was by far the best we've ever had the pleasure of eating. it just sucks we're 6 hours away!!

down home good. we checked this place out based on the reviews and were not disappointed. we were very glad that we arrived early and took one of the few remaining tables. the crowds were behind us. we were warmly greeted by one of the owners. the waitress was extremely busy with all the customers, but our service was excellent. we started our meal with their homemade apple fritters. delicious. for breakfast we had the crackedeggomelet which was huge and tasty! the orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. everything was exceptional. it is no wonder this is a busy place. arrive early!

breakfast is good! service is great!. we have eaten there twice. the first time for breakfast & the next time for lunch. the service was great & the prices are inexpensive. for breakfast, i had the meats omelette & my wife had the country benedict. they were both good. at lucnch, i had the rueben & my wife had the grilled cheese & bacon with chili cheese fries. they were both good. the chili was great once you added their "crackedeggdiner" hot sauce on top.

the staff was friendly, and the food was great. i've always compared omelets to the ones served in marine corps mess halls....always the best. the crackedeggdined hit the mark. mr. purucker, and his staff could not have been more friendly. before vacation is over, i will enjoy "a few good omelets".

crackedeggdiner. my wife and i ate breakfast there in august of 2011 while visiting daytona beach. we cannot say enough good things about this place. nice atmosphere,good music,wonderful service and fantastic food.the homemade corned beef hash was really good as were the biscuits and gravy. we will most definitely eat there again when we are back in daytona beach. it is refreshing to see a good independent restaurant and not a franchise,independent owners need your support.

excellent breakfast place. one of the best breakfast restaurants i've been to. i had the crackedeggomlet (with the sausage gravy on the side), which has all of their available meats and veggies and is more than enough food. they use fresh eggs from a local farmer, and the food and service was outstanding. i will never eat breakfast anywhere else in daytona after finding this place.

we ate at the crackedeggfor lunch. what an excellent surprise. i had the meatloaf manhattan special. it it delicious! my girlfriend loved her tuna melt.

finally, a yummy breakfast spot in cracked egg.. we relocated recently from atlanta and have been dismayed at the lack of good breakfast spots. looks like we've finally found one in the crackedeggdiner.

i went with the intention of either pancakes or an omelet, but was lured in by the hot turkey sandwich lunch special. hot, steamy mashed potatoes, turkey between two slices of texas toast all smothered with gravy. ok, it could have been thick sliced turkey, but really it was quite good. my partner tried the chipped beef on toast and says it reminded her of home.

great service, clean, friendly environment. oh, did i mention clean? they even had automatic soap and paper towels in the restroom to satisfy my germophobe self.

we checked out some other diners eating breakfast and it looked great. we'll definitely be back really soon to check it out. yeah, it took us about 20 minutes from ormond to get there. but it was so very worth the drive.

our server kelli with an i was friendly, fast and helpful as we tried to navigate the menu. you'd never know it was only her second day.

wow. we are down in daytona beach and had the best breakfast in the world,all of the food was exceptional however the homemade corn beef hash was to die for, truly a must have, did i mention it was homemade, if i was a critic i would give you 10stars! when we found the crackedeggdiner website being a corn beef hash lover i could not wait, upon arrival they did not have it done yet, it would be at least 30 minutes, what???? well one of the owners came up to the table and i told him we had come from indiana to eat the best corn beef hash but it was not ready, well it was ready before we left and he gave it to us at n/c, thanks chris/kevin~with owners like this they will be in business for a very long time!!!! we will be back, tomorrow:)

homestyle with a twist. this was our fourth time eating at the crackedeggwhen we are in daytona beach once again delicious i'm usually a pancake guy but after reading a couple reviews i ventured out and tried the crabeggbenedict - awesome
