i eat here for breakfast, greatfoodgreat atmosphere; if i'm going out to breakfast, this is where i am. i think they should put one on the boardwalk: breakfast with a view!

major wayne earl evans. a+foodand service. friendly efficient and most flexible and accommodating. best breakfast diner in florida. i have 2 time shares in daytona and i have breakfast at the cracked egg every morning and i proudly wear their very cool t shirt.

best kept secret in daytona beach, fl. so glad we found you on the hotel provided map. yourfoodis delicious, your menu varied, your service excellent, & your establishment was fun! it was a great experience during our little getaway in february 2014.

humble.. the diner is real small and not the prettiest of the bunch, also the service is not always the greatest, but thefoodis satisfactory and nice on the wallet. i enjoy eating here from time to time.

went here based on urbanspoon reviews. awesome place. will go back for breakfast tomorrow. pancakes were huge. apple fritters were inspirational. fresh localfoodlike you cooked at home except someone else did it for you and did it well! highly recommended.

i would post a picture, but we cleaned our plates!

dang....we are here years ago and it is even better. m had eggs, bacon, hash browns and kielbasa. i choose the southern scramble (i would have ordered the chunky monkey pancakes, but i need to stay awake). holly smokes! that was good. prob the best gravy i’ve ever had...sorry grandma in heaven....it was the best.

it may be another ten years, but i’ll be back. greatfoodand service makes a great combo.

p.s. i should have tried the fritters!

went to this restaurant this weekend for breakfast on saturday and sunday. the service was amazing, thefoodwas sooooo good. on my first day i had the western omelet with the hash brown. wow!!! the hash brown was very crispy and delicious. the second day i had the eggs chesapeake omg wow! service was friendly andfoodwas great. the apple fritters are incredible, if your ever in daytona, check this place out!! be patient to be seated because thefoodit well worth it!

don't miss the diner. i am a big fan of diners after staying at perry's ocean edge saw the diner on the way to aunt catfish on our way to the air port stopped in to check it outfoodwas dinerfoodplace was well decorated not to much just right as we left owner was there to thank us great idea.

acceptablefoodwith long wait. staff is very nice,foodis on par with other comparable establishments. the wait of 40 minutes from order to delivery is unacceptable especially when this appears to be the norm demonstrated by conservative visits.

greatfoodand great price. my husband and i visited the cracked egg diner after reading the reviews on urbanspoon. thefoodwas wonderful, the portions were large, and the price was great. i ordered the veggie omelet and it was spectacular. the waitress was very sweet. the restaurant is very clean. i highly recommend eating at the cracked egg diner. you will not be disappointed.

great service, unimpressive food. i was surprised that on a busy saturday morning we were seated almost immediately. our waitress was really nice and helpful and thefooddidn't take forever to come out.
i ordered the corned beef hash, two eggs scrambled, and toast. their "wow" portions were a joke. i'm 5'2, 110lb female, i could have ordered another plate & still would have been hungry. the corned beef hash was a pile of mush. no chunks of meat or potatoes. tasted & looked like it was made a week ago and thrown on the griddle to be warmed up. i'm not one for onions and this dish was filled with them. i'm afraid to see what the portion size would have looked like if i ordered it without them. and for a place that has the word "egg" in the their name, you would think that would be the one thing they would know how to cook but they were raw and tasted like "egg-beaters" not even real eggs.
