best kept secret in daytona beach, fl. so glad we found you on the hotel provided map. your food is delicious, your menu varied, yourserviceexcellent, & your establishment was fun! it was a great experience during our little getaway in february 2014.

humble.. the diner is real small and not the prettiest of the bunch, also theserviceis not always the greatest, but the food is satisfactory and nice on the wallet. i enjoy eating here from time to time.

i would post a picture, but we cleaned our plates!

dang....we are here years ago and it is even better. m had eggs, bacon, hash browns and kielbasa. i choose the southern scramble (i would have ordered the chunky monkey pancakes, but i need to stay awake). holly smokes! that was good. prob the best gravy i’ve ever had...sorry grandma in heaven....it was the best.

it may be another ten years, but i’ll be back. great food andservicemakes a great combo.

p.s. i should have tried the fritters!

food was awesome,servicewas prompt, our food came out quick, and our server kaylee had great recommendations for us. will definitely be back!

this place is phenomenal. i had the southwestern benedict. their corned beef hash is the best i've ever had. the place was packed, but that did not affect ourserviceone bit. it was all hands on deck. i watched the owner bus tables and seat people in order to maintain the flow of business.

went to this restaurant this weekend for breakfast on saturday and sunday. theservicewas amazing, the food was sooooo good. on my first day i had the western omelet with the hash brown. wow!!! the hash brown was very crispy and delicious. the second day i had the eggs chesapeake omg wow!servicewas friendly and food was great. the apple fritters are incredible, if your ever in daytona, check this place out!! be patient to be seated because the food it well worth it!

why did i wait so long to visit the cracked egg, this place is out this world yummy! and theservicewas great, even watched the owner running around making sure every guest was happy! i will be back with out a doubt!

breakfast for two. my wife had the fried apple fritters and i had the cheese and ham omelet. the omelet was cooked about right and tasted o.k, but there was not enough egg to really seal the ham & cheese. the omelet was also greaser than i like. the fritters were hot and good. theservicewas slow, not enough staff. my wife had to wait a long time for a coffee refill. overall, this diner is an average three star.

great breakfast! excellent service!. my husband and i ate breakfast there today, june 11, 2014. it was very good! we both had one of their omelet variations. all of our food was excellent and ourservicewas just as good as we'll.

cool place!. we recently went there a number of times now and we absolutely love it. i recommend the breakfast because they make a breakfast tastier than any restaurant i've ever been to.
i had the french toast and pam had the eggs and home fries.
the atmosphere is terrific and theserviceis even better. it's directly across from the atlantic ocean so it doesn't get any sweeter than that! see you there!

down home good. we checked this place out based on the reviews and were not disappointed. we were very glad that we arrived early and took one of the few remaining tables. the crowds were behind us. we were warmly greeted by one of the owners. the waitress was extremely busy with all the customers, but ourservicewas excellent. we started our meal with their homemade apple fritters. delicious. for breakfast we had the cracked egg omelet which was huge and tasty! the orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. everything was exceptional. it is no wonder this is a busy place. arrive early!

breakfast is good!serviceis great!. we have eaten there twice. the first time for breakfast & the next time for lunch. theservicewas great & the prices are inexpensive. for breakfast, i had the meats omelette & my wife had the country benedict. they were both good. at lucnch, i had the rueben & my wife had the grilled cheese & bacon with chili cheese fries. they were both good. the chili was great once you added their "cracked egg diner" hot sauce on top.

cracked egg diner. my wife and i ate breakfast there in august of 2011 while visiting daytona beach. we cannot say enough good things about this place. nice atmosphere,good music,wonderfulserviceand fantastic food.the homemade corned beef hash was really good as were the biscuits and gravy. we will most definitely eat there again when we are back in daytona beach. it is refreshing to see a good independent restaurant and not a franchise,independent owners need your support.

don't get the lofty ranking. tried this place a few times and i do not understand how it gets a lofty ranking. i mean the location is great (on a1a) and they play a little music in there. but theserviceis slow and the breakfast is your typical run of the mill type you will find all over daytona.
