at&t staff.... on behalf of the at&t team on tchoupitoulas, we would like to say that we enjoyed every minute ofcrabbyjack's. we ordered togo but intend to continue ordering from here because the food is incredible! we recommend that anyone that may be in the area near ochsner in jefferson stop by and check this place out!

crabby jack's is definitely a favorite of the locals. walking in you get the vibe that everyone else eating there are regulars. i had the fried green tomato and shrimp remoulade poboy. did i mention they are known for their overstuffed poboys? my sandwich was overflowing with fried green tomatoes and shrimp goodness. if you are ever in new orleans i strongly suggest you wander away from the french quarter and make your way tocrabbyjack's for lunch.

flavorless. it was my first time atcrabbyjack's.. it was also my last! the roast beef and ham had absolutely no taste at all! fleur de crap!

despite the popularity of their oak st restaurant, the semi-industrial location ofcrabbyjack’s tells you clearly that the owners were more interested in establishing a great eatery for locals than for chasing the tourist dollar. high five, guys.

monster po' boys on great bread!. huge po' boys served on great bread and overstuffed with your choice of filling. three of us shared three different samples ofcrabbyjacks signature po' boys, shrimp, duck and half &half(shrimp and oyster) dressed of course. monster portions served on great bread with sides of jambalaya and gumbo. all of them were outstanding and i particularly liked the duck version. we each ordered the regular size and none of us could finish it at one sitting so think about that before ordering the king size option. this place is a definite "do again" the next time i'm in the area. bon apetité!

terrific po-boys. great po-boys. this is a small shack with a dive vibe that has great food. order at the counter and have a seat. the oyster po-boy was great with a lot of oysters. my husband had the fluer de bree with baked ham, roast beef, debris and gravy. lots of meat and he rated it excellent.

prices are reasonable and you can keep thecrabbyjack's cup your pop is served in. friendly staff too.

dine with the local's. leave the distractions behind and check this local spot. louisiana has many po' boys, but the po' boys at this joint are top notch. try the dirty rice also.

horrible poboys. sorry to say but i do not likecrabbyjack's. the poboys are horrible, just nasty, the lettace is old and not crisp, tomatoes are too. prices are good don't want to go back.

sign of the times, cut backs???. on my latest visit tocrabbyjacks, i observed and experienced a shocking reality regarding the seafood poboys, i.e. shrimp, calamari, etc. they are no longer overstuffed. i say this not only on my own calimari pb but on other patrons' poboys as well. suffice it to say, the sandwich was still delicious, as always, but the lagniape was clearly absent. i hope this is a short-term occurrence and not a sign of what's ahead.

a classic dive with excellent food!. since it touts itself as a po boy museum (see sign outside), of course i had to try one of their po boys. i had the half & half seafood with oysters & shrimp along with a side of the best mac & cheese ever! they add in a small bit of jalapeno to the mac & cheese which really adds a nice punch without being too hot. now, as other have mentioned, the seafood is cooked perfectly and seasoned well. the oysters were still juicy and the shrimp were nice and plump. but words could not have prepared me for how giant the regular sandwich is! this is a monster and well worth every penny/dollar you will have to pay for it! it could easily be shared between two people. there was a constant stream of customers coming in the door while i was there and it was near closing time on saturday. obviously,crabbyjack's should be on your list of new orleans po boy stops, especially since this is the museum.

undoubtedly,crabbyjack’s deserves multiple visits. it’s a shame that so many visitors to new orleans will never make it here, but true po-boy fans will hire a taxi, rent a car, or walk to get these po-boys. they truly are that spectacular.

wonderful!. i had lunch atcrabbyjack's last week and it was so good. i had one of the best po'boys i've ever eaten. the bread was amazing (chewy and soft), the catfish was fresh tasting and fried perfectly. the homemade sweet potato chips were super thin and crispy. two thumbs up!

worth the trip. i visit nola frequently from nj. i found this place through urbanspoon, in search for real local food, instead of chains or tourist traps. the place is a dump, but the food is outstanding.crabbyjack's specializes in po-boys (subs on french roll for the rest of us outside of nola). this place has become a mandatory stop for me when i'm in the nola area. why you ask? in nj the line would be out the door 24/7. favorites - brisket po-boy dressed (lettuce, tomato and mayo). a great sandwich full of flavor that melts in your mouth. the ultimate sleeper, the turkey po-boy. a turkey sub you say. i say yes. this is the best turkey sub in the us.

great po boys. my sons live in nola and brought me tocrabbyjacks for one of the best po boys i have ever eaten. if you can find a seat at lunch you will be sitting with new friends. nothing fancy just great food. i highly reccomend eating at cjs.
