we reached the place around 6:30 pm. the head staff told us he could not give us a table inside as it was late. but many tables were empty. we insisted on getting a table inside. when we showed a little disappointment, in a minutes time he came out and alloted us a table in the corner near the window inside.this was really bad and not a way to treat customers. the food was good. they served their own homemade fries and not the store bought ready to cook, which was really tasty. the vegan cheese pizza and ultimate mozarella burger were the best. the white sauce pasta was also good.

one of my best experiences in white town! perfect ambience and brilliant food.we had the grilled prawns, harissa pasta and thai curry! the thai curry was absolutely perfect

our first day in pondicherry, and this place was suggested by a friend, and oh boy, this place did not disappoint. not only the food and ambience amazing the carrot cake which we had was out of the world. another place i would love to come back to on my next visit to the city whenever that happens.

had the pasta, garlic bread and apple crumble pie with ice cream. pasta had too much butter and garlic bread was too dry. the dessert was good. good ambience but had huge waiting time. a little overrated

difficult to get a place since it is full during peak hours and does not take reservations!
had a cucumber cooler - refreshing as promised, thai mango salad and potato cheese salad was delicious. bengali curry tasted well too.

missed 1 star because of their desserts - looked fancy and delicious, but taste was a disappointment. both tres leches cake and burnt american cheesecake were below average. not very fresh / spongy or melt in mouth

excellent place! the ambiance was awesome and so was the food!!! one of the best places to hang out with friends and family at pondy!!! they serve alcohol as well! good one 👍

must visit cafe when you are in pondicherry. the ambience here is very rich and aesthetic which gives you simply greate vibe and fine dinning experience.

the european style decore makes it one of the most instagrammable cafés you must visit.

this place is huge and has indoor and out door seating with multiple dining sections.
food here is great with prity good service.

the ambience with its interiors like an old time cottage with chandeliers is perfect for date night! good options in food and drinks (though limited if you are veg). service is courteous and helpful.

this is one of my favourite cafe in pondicherry. the ambience is very beautiful here. it is quiet relaxing. also, the food served here is very different.

we had some french fries which was served with a garlic dip and a veggie burger which also was delicious.

we visited this place in december 2021. the property and the ambiance is quite good.

crispy prawns was not worth the price.
chop and steak were tasty but the meat was a bit chewy.
virgin mojito was good, no complaints
chocolate cake with icecream was just okay

service is average,the thing that we did not appreciate was that while we were placing our order for the starters, the waiter asked us to order the main course too as it would take a while to cook and should be ready just in time when we are ready for our main course. but what happened was, the waiter got the main course just after 5 minutes of serving the starters. it was as if they wanted us to quicky finish our meal and vacate the table.

tip- reserve a table if visiting on weekends.

don’t judge the book by it’s cover. it’s a pretty place but wish the food had lived up to it. the food is actually in the opposite end of the spectrum.

tried the vietnamese rolls and they were horrible, the pancakes were super dry, the cheese pesto toast was so bad because the bread was of really poor quality and stale. the tofu curry special was very oily and bad. the chips in the fish and chips were super disappointing! the coffee is super weak. this place is good for instagram and nothing else.

do not visit this cafe during covid! this is my go to place during every visit to pondy. but the last 2 visits have been pathetic.

forget food. let's talk about covid:
some waiters dont wear masks. the head chef doesnt wear a mask. the servers and managers are absolutely rude and pathetic. the lady washing the dishes was continuously coughing and the lady taking the dishes to the kitchen after washing had no mask on which is probably why i contracted covid as this was the only restaurant i went to on my day trip. i realised all this only after tasting my horrible margerita pizza. the shot coffee and the coffee cup that they serve it with is a scam! u can't even hold the cup safely 😂 it's an absolute joke! definitely never ever visiting this place. they do not deserve the name that they have managed to get over the years. their service is utterly disappointing. talk about rude waiters and managers. phew!

perfect place for a brunch. love the classic french vibe of this place. good service but a little expensive.

the manager was not keen on hearing guest requests.

i opted this place as my new experiment and my experiment was really good apart from service. ambience and food were really commendable… i would suggest to everyone to visit this place..
