decent-good food, nice ambience.
what could’ve been a great experience is ruined by the staff. every. single. time. they’re just very unwelcoming, unbothered, late and rude. i don’t know if they’re trained to be that way or something to show some sort of elusivity of the place or whatever it is that they’re trying to do, ‘cause every one of them acts this way. super weird.

go if you can see beyond the coldserviceand bare the wait time.

the café ambience is great! the menu is pretty normal.servicecould be better, as they forget to get the dishes to the table after it’s done so you have to check on your order once or twice. i can understand the hype because it’s one of those instagrammable spots but other than that it’s nothing exceptional. nevertheless, it was a good experience!

this cafe serves best pizzas in town. just loved the food. there ice cold coffee is also amazing. even there garlic is also good. given 4 stars asservicewas really slows had to wait a lot for food to come.

the ambience with its interiors like an old time cottage with chandeliers is perfect for date night! good options in food and drinks (though limited if you are veg).serviceis courteous and helpful.

do not visit this cafe during covid! this is my go to place during every visit to pondy. but the last 2 visits have been pathetic.

forget food. let's talk about covid:
some waiters dont wear masks. the head chef doesnt wear a mask. the servers and managers are absolutely rude and pathetic. the lady washing the dishes was continuously coughing and the lady taking the dishes to the kitchen after washing had no mask on which is probably why i contracted covid as this was the only restaurant i went to on my day trip. i realised all this only after tasting my horrible margerita pizza. the shot coffee and the coffee cup that they serve it with is a scam! u can't even hold the cup safely 😂 it's an absolute joke! definitely never ever visiting this place. they do not deserve the name that they have managed to get over the years. theirserviceis utterly disappointing. talk about rude waiters and managers. phew!

one of the must visit places in pondy. the french style villa and the gardens surrounding it make it a perfect place to have a meal. they have good vegan options too. theirserviceis terrible, that’s the only con.

i went to the cafe after hearing so much from friends and family however theservicewas pathetic, staff was rude. i waited for 1 hour outside to get a table after getting exhausted waited 1 hour in their lounge to get a table and then 1 hour again for finally getting the food, in total 3 hours of trouble.serviceis poor, we were not even offered the preferred table and no snacks were offered while waited for our food. and the food is also not worth the hype. it was a terrible experience and if u got a lot of time to waste just on a cafe then good luck.

went here for dinner last night. the interiors of the cafe are so aesthetical absolutely loved it. ordered the garlic butter bread which was a little disappointing. the bread came out cold and a little hard. the vietnamese spring rolls were absolutely delicious. it came with a tangy purple vinaigrette i couldn't get enough of. the seafood pasta was unlike any other i have ever had before, the sauce was lip smacking good. the cream cheese and aubergine rolls were crispy and well done. the aubergine had a smokey taste. it came with a sweet and tangy mango sauce. the food was reasonable andservicewas fast.

i am sitting here right now for thr last one hour and there is no one here to listen to our plight. the manager is not here. no one has clue on what going on! we ordered simple stuff and still have not got it. disgusting to say the least. worst part is that these guys are not apologetic.
