can't review on the food because we didn't get a chance to enter. we reached there at 7 pm for dinner and the place was already full which is understandable considering the place is listed among top 10 places to visit. there is a person at the gate whose job is to shoo away people. we were ready to wait, but this person wouldn't even entertain that. he straight away said, "we are done for the day". out of curiosity, if we can do any reservations to get a table. that's when i get to know that they don't do reservation, neither they have any waiting list. they do first come first serve. but for that you have to reach there at 5.30-6 for dinner. so basically, if you are travelling for a weekend, and you have plans tovisitthis place, only your luck can get you in. they do not put effort for queue management or do reservations. however, they have a dedicated person at the gate to shoo away the visitors in a very very rude tone.
a place with 170 seating capacity, i can't believe that i have to reach by 6 to get a table at dinner. post that, they won't entertain anyone. this whole system and their behaviour just reflects their arrogance towards the tourists visiting their place

our first day in pondicherry, and this place was suggested by a friend, and oh boy, this place did not disappoint. not only the food and ambience amazing the carrot cake which we had was out of the world. another place i would love to come back to on my nextvisitto the city whenever that happens.

do notvisitthis cafe during covid! this is my go to place during everyvisitto pondy. but the last 2 visits have been pathetic.

forget food. let's talk about covid:
some waiters dont wear masks. the head chef doesnt wear a mask. the servers and managers are absolutely rude and pathetic. the lady washing the dishes was continuously coughing and the lady taking the dishes to the kitchen after washing had no mask on which is probably why i contracted covid as this was the only restaurant i went to on my day trip. i realised all this only after tasting my horrible margerita pizza. the shot coffee and the coffee cup that they serve it with is a scam! u can't even hold the cup safely 😂 it's an absolute joke! definitely never ever visiting this place. they do not deserve the name that they have managed to get over the years. their service is utterly disappointing. talk about rude waiters and managers. phew!

i opted this place as my new experiment and my experiment was really good apart from service. ambience and food were really commendable… i would suggest to everyone tovisitthis place..

one of the mustvisitplaces in pondy. the french style villa and the gardens surrounding it make it a perfect place to have a meal. they have good vegan options too. their service is terrible, that’s the only con.

we reached around 12 noon and had a relaxed lunch. all the dishes we ordered were tasty and we relished our meal there.desserts we’re the yummiest ones l ever had. tiramisu was tasty, the carrot cake was simply delicious. should definitelyvisitthis place if you evervisitpondicherry

they have more to their food menu than the visuals
which we tried later that day for lunch

we happen to meet a lady over here who sat on a table besides us outside

she was there for like 10 days from then
all by herself
thanks to her we got to note down so many places to explore in the colony

she also suggested carrot cake & a drink named street herbologist at coromandel

unfortunately, it wasn’t available that day

it's a great place tovisitfor lunch / dinner .. it's hidden gem in one of the narrow lanes of the white town .. though it's a very popular among the tourist .. it's always filled with people .. the ambiance , the food and the staff are all worth the wait .. kudos to the interior designer who put up the whole look of the property .. lovely
we had pasta , fries , wine , titbits and tiramisu everything was just perfect. !

went here for dinner last night. the interiors of the cafe are so aesthetical absolutely loved it. ordered the garlic butter bread which was a little disappointing. the bread came out cold and a little hard. the vietnamese spring rolls were absolutely delicious. it came with a tangy purple vinaigrette i couldn't get enough of. the seafood pasta was unlike any other i have ever had before, the sauce was lip smacking good. the cream cheese and aubergine rolls were crispy and well done. the aubergine had a smokey taste. it came with a sweet and tangy mango sauce. the food was reasonable and service was fast.

one of my colleague had recommended this cafe to me and i am thankful to him. it has a beautiful ambience and indoor as well as outdoor dining is an option. vibe of this cafe is really very soothing and relaxing. it is usually a bit busy in the evenings so you might have to wait for the table. we tried pizza, mocktail and cold chocolate here and all were delectable. staff is very active and friendly. mustvisitwhile on avisitto rock beach or white town.
