not a standout. the good wine selection doesn't really make up for the unexceptional food and poor service. i probably won't be eating in the main restaurant again unless things improve significantly. the downstairs bar may bewortha trip though.

horrible service. we reserved a table for our anniversary, hoping to have a quiet celebration.
although we did have a small two top next to the wall, the next table was close enough to share the condiments. the steaks although cooked correctly, a rarity in our recent experience, they were far formworththe price. the wine list is a joke. if i am going to spend 40+ dollars per entrée i would expect them to not need to mark up bottles of wine by 400%.
the service was the worst i have had in recent years. after waiting for almost 15 minutes after seating to even be greeted by the waitress, we were obviously not a table she felt was going to help pay her rent. at one point when she dropped off my wife's drink she barely broke stride. never responding to my wife's question of featured entree's. then when she did return she was far to busy to describe the menu in any detail.
again i agree that the steaks are very good, although notworththe price. as far as the other parts of the meal our additional shared vegetable was undercooked and the hollandaise sauce tasted like a powdered mix.
all in all i can say for certain that when i plan to spend $200 or more for a nice dinner it will not be at this establishment.

terrific. our family enjoyed a wonderful, delicious meal here this year. perfect in every way. a little pricey for spokane butworthit. won't be back every week but for special occasions, count me in!

amazing steaks. from the information given by the wait staff to the end product, this place isworththe price. a perfect steak cooked to your perfection is exactly what everyone should have once in a while. i loved absolutely everything about our experience here and will go back as often as we can!

outstanding!. churchill's strives to be one of the best in the pacific northwest and from our experience is there. the food and service was no less than outstanding on all points. all of our steaks, though ordered at a variety of temps, were each prepared perfectly as ordered. if you're a chocolate lover you must try the "chocolate sack" for desert at least once in your lifetime. although a bit pricey i wouldn't consider this place to be expensive. for the quality of service and food the bill isworthevery single dime.
i would highly recommend churchill's and will definitely return next time i visit the spokane area.

always exceptional. whether you go when money is tight or when it's not there are options for this first-class steak house. wimpy wednesday is great for awesome burgers at 1/2 price, or if you're flush the steaks are wellworththe money. we live in lofts above, so maybe we're prejudiced, but the friendly service and efficient staff coupled with the old world elegance and exceptional food is a winning combination and we're there twice a week without fail. from the owner bill, management staff lenny, nicole, and all the great servers (dave, katie, sabrina, bailey, dan, et al) they all work hard to ensure your experience is sublime.

great the first time i went. this place is quite pricey and the first time i went it was wellworthit. the food was good, the complimentary bread was terrifyingly addicting and the service was great. the last time i went, however, my steak didn't have that nice crust on it, rather it was burnt at the edges. i imagine that this was a rare mishap, i hope anyways.

grizfanz. hadn't been here in years. we were in town last week and it was getting late and headed over here. it was late and they still served us.
we ate downstairs at the bar and had a great time. dan the bartender was awesome, super friendly and new what he was doing. the mgr lenny made us feel at home and was funny as hell.
now on to the food. prime porterhouse cooked to perfection (rare) melted in my mouth. the wife had the filet and it was just as amazing. our whole meal that night was wellworththe price.
if you are in spokane, you need to try churchill's for dinner.

dang it!. this place could be so cool but it missing something, or alot of things depending on the night. my steak was notworth$35 for an 8oz steak. we wanted to have a fun night, not be put to sleep by the piano. guess i know where to take g-ma next time.

i have been very disappointed in their filet on more than one occassion. their service was notworthtipping. overall mediocre at best.

best steak you will ever eat!!. if you haven't seen the newly refurbished churchill's steakhouse, it is a must see. the former restaurant was very nice but the new, improved, decor is much more comfortable, chic and warm. then there is the eats - the filet mignon with a pat of herb butter on top melts in your mouth - you want to slowly savor each bite. the wedge salad with bleu cheese crumbles is a wonderful complement to the aforementioned melt in your mouth steak.worthevery penny.
