churchill's steakhouse

steak melted in my mouth. great atmosphere, excellent food and very good service. the new york prime rib was awesome!! we chose to sit downstairs in a booth near the bar and loved our dining experience. churchill's has frequent specials posted on their facebook page, so become a friend on facebook and get their deals! the steak and all their food is unbelievable!!! oh, did i mention the butter (served on an amazing homemade buscuit) is from belguim?! yum
we will be back!

disappointed. we heard so many good things about churchill's, we decided to go. unfortunately, the drinks were weak and overpriced, and the steaks were undercooked. we asked for medium and were served rare. only ate a couple bites before losing our appetite from all the blood on the dish. not sure if the waitress or the cook got it wrong, but it was very disappointing. the waitress offered to take the steaks back to cook them more, but we didnt want to wait another 40 minutes for our meal. we were given a box containing four chocolates and an apology for their error. will not be going back - have better things to spend $150 on.

prime steaks hand cut for you!. i have been to churchill's many times since their re-opening and have loved it more and more each visit. this place is perfect for a special occasion. but they also do amazing (and cheap) dinner specials - like 2 buck chuck night with prime beef sliders for only 2 bucks! the drinks are perfectly mixed. the salads and veggies are fresh and a wonderful compliment to those perfectly aged steaks. spokane is lucky to have this place!

not a standout. the good wine selection doesn't really make up for the unexceptional food and poor service. i probably won't be eating in the main restaurant again unless things improve significantly. the downstairs bar may be worth a trip though.

big disappointment. way overpriced for everything. had oysters rockefeller and we could not even find the oyster! escargot tough and tasteless. after a big table display of all the prime meat cuts, we were served a new york strip for two with a huge line of gristle down the steak. lovely setting but had to change tables due to wobbly base. server was fine. won't return nor recommend. left our report of experience at davenport hotel where we were staying. save your hard earned dollars.

poor service. not a very attentive waiter. great steak even though the server got the temperatures mixed up between my husband and i's steak. he also gave my husband a sirloin rather than a ribeye that he ordered. had to wait for him to bring steak knifes after he brought our dinners. never even told us his name. would expect more.for a $100 dinner.

outstanding place. great service, menu, and food quality in the restaurant. steaks that have no other comparison in spokane and would be with the best in major cities. the surprise is the bar with great style and a very good offering, best burger in spoane for the money!

churchill’s is one of our very favorite restaurants. we haven’t found a better steak in the northwest.
the ambiance is lovely. there’s a very talented pianist playing background music. they have an extensive wine selection. and the service is impeccable. be sure to order a side of cougar gold mac n cheese!

they spent 10 minutes explaining their "super" ovens to us. i ordered the biggest steak they had medium-well, and my guest ordered rare. my guest got a very good rare steak, while i received a bloody mess. my guest ordered a much smaller steak, so it was like they cooked them for the exact same time. it was disappointing. they took it back and cooked it right. what i then had was a very, very good steak. they understand that no matter what, you always season the food. a little goes a long ways. the peas were super crisp and splendid. the garlic mashed potatoes were the most amazing i've ever had. top notch restaurant. now they just need to teach their chefs to cook a steak, and not just push a button and hope its right.

best steak i have ever had and most likely will ever have. went for a romantic date with my husband as a christmas gift and had an amazing time. all of the food was delicious and the atmosphere lovely. highly recommended if your looking to spend top dollar for outstanding food and a luxurious evening.

i'm over it.. i've been here a couple of times and yes the steaks are good but the rest of it really falls off. for some reason they think an enormous amount of salt is good seasoning. if you can scrape most of it off the meat is very good. the service in the bar is far superior to what you get upstairs.

i believe i saw the owner the last time i was there and he seemed like a complete d-bag. yes "d-bag", don't want to get anyone offended and have this post removed.

i guess this is a good steakhouse for spokane but compared to those in other cities, it's just..... meh.

if you're on an expense account, go for it, if not, spokane has many other fantastic restaurants, sante, ruins, scratch, durkins and the list goes on. you have a choice people, you might just as well go someplace with great food, a more reasonable price and any an owner/management staff who aren't complete tools.

terrible service. worst service in town. not even relative to the price point - absolute worst service i've experienced at any restaurant in spokane. steak was ver good. porch chop was well below par. we won't return to this over priced poorly serviced restaurant

tried braised beef tips with mushroom risotto on a busy night. i get it's the lower end of the price menu but could it have been any more disappointing. i am not encouraged to order steak with whatever side dishes they offer. the only thing great about this place are the burgers so far.

top shelf service and high quality delicious food. fun, friendly and high quality!!!! you must dine here!

decent, but don't have high expectations.. this place was pretty good. it is expensive, and they do use way too much pepper. the steaks are good quality. their bread isn't very good. the butter lettuce salad was good, but the leaves were presented whole. it was difficult to eat. service was good. ambiance was nice. music was bad. it was also really noisy. i didn't love this restaurant, but i didn't hate it either.
