churchill's steakhouse

not a standout. the goodwineselection doesn't really make up for the unexceptional food and poor service. i probably won't be eating in the main restaurant again unless things improve significantly. the downstairs bar may be worth a trip though.

churchill’s is one of our very favorite restaurants. we haven’t found a better steak in the northwest.
the ambiance is lovely. there’s a very talented pianist playing background music. they have an extensivewineselection. and the service is impeccable. be sure to order a side of cougar gold mac n cheese!

horrible service. we reserved a table for our anniversary, hoping to have a quiet celebration.
although we did have a small two top next to the wall, the next table was close enough to share the condiments. the steaks although cooked correctly, a rarity in our recent experience, they were far form worth the price. thewinelist is a joke. if i am going to spend 40+ dollars per entrée i would expect them to not need to mark up bottles ofwineby 400%.
the service was the worst i have had in recent years. after waiting for almost 15 minutes after seating to even be greeted by the waitress, we were obviously not a table she felt was going to help pay her rent. at one point when she dropped off my wife's drink she barely broke stride. never responding to my wife's question of featured entree's. then when she did return she was far to busy to describe the menu in any detail.
again i agree that the steaks are very good, although not worth the price. as far as the other parts of the meal our additional shared vegetable was undercooked and the hollandaise sauce tasted like a powdered mix.
all in all i can say for certain that when i plan to spend $200 or more for a nice dinner it will not be at this establishment.

outstanding daily special. my wife and i have recently lost our jobs, but still like to go out as a couple to just talk and plan.
we went to "wimpy" wednesdays where they have burger specials. in one word "awesome", we were down stairs shared a booth....had great service as always...
we have friends who budgets have been strained because of the economy....so money is tight, and we are sharing up to enjoy a full blow steak dinner during the holidays, and our anniversary the end of december.
it's a great place to met friends and break bread...and is fast becoming "the place" in downtown spokane to go for a great dinner, since the davenport palm court has remodeled and became the "palm court grill"...but is now a big size sports bar...

at last a true steakhouse. burn's steakhouse of orlando, florida has always been my bench market for a great steakhouse, well churchill's steakhouse blew that away.

great food, wonderful service, and very finewinelist....they make you feel at home. the flavors were just out of this world. the owner and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home.

i was here for a group event and they just seemed annoyed. mywinewas good but was never given an options or recommendations. just "eh" for me

good food, good friends. happy to return to churchill's. last night i started with a great bottle of wine, added some appetizers and the filet mignon was melt in your mouth delicious. finished up with morewineand the famous chocolate sack. everything was so wonderful i returned tonight for morewineand the carpaccio of prime beef loin. love the food, love the atmosphere and love the people. thank you churchill's for returning.

fantastic. i recently visited churchill's for a late evening snack. i found it wonderful and quite delightful!!! i had the bacon cheese burger and found it more than filling with a side of lightly fried onion strings. awesomewinelist, (not my personal favorite in town) but overall quite wonderful. service is great, and the ambiance is very warm and cozy. i personally did not visit before the accident, but this go round has quite literally left a splendiferous taste in my mouth!
