not a standout. the good wine selection doesn't really make up for the unexceptional food and poor service. i probably won't be eating in the mainrestaurantagain unless things improve significantly. the downstairs bar may be worth a trip though.

terrible service. worst service in town. not even relative to the price point - absolute worst service i've experienced at anyrestaurantin spokane. steak was ver good. porch chop was well below par. we won't return to this over priced poorly serviced restaurant

4 star restaurant, really?. service in the bar was okay. the table service was good upstairs. more space between tables would be nice though. prices are a bit high, though the food was good. however, what i do not understand for a 4 star restaurant, is why would they have co-ed bathroom facilities? after our $170 dinner for two, i went to use a bathroom, which a man had just left the bathroom, leaving the seat up. i stood there stunned, that i would have to touch a urine stained toilet seat, after eating, in what spokane refers to as arestaurantwith notoriety for excellence? i do not think of this as elegance and i am hoping mngt has changed this idea of co-ed bathrooms. i went elsewhere for a bathroom.

treat...your...selves.... i'm a regular guy, with a regular family, who goes to regular-guy type places to dine. i'm not used to dressing up and enjoying fine dining experiences. but i can clean-up when i need/have to, and my lovely wife's 40th birthday allowed me this rare opportunity. i will not give a grandiose, encyclopedic description of it all, but trust me when i say the food, the service, the ambiance, the everything at one of spokane's bestrestaurantofferings was simply wonderful. these are professionals---from our evening greeting, to our last delicious bite of dessert. i'm not speechless, but it's close...

excellent burgers. we dined in the lounge. we just wanted the burgers. i’m not sure if burgers are available in the restaurant. therestauranthas a dress code. the lounge doesn’t. so we opted to dine in the lounge because we didn’t want to dress up.

churchill’s makes burgers out of their steak trimmings. they are the best i’ve ever eaten.

the service was excellent.

finnally! realrestaurantpeople.. unique to spokanerestaurantscene are the owner and crew of churchills. good salt restraunteers that actually care about therestaurantand the people in it. warm and welcoming! this goes without saying the amount of care that goes into each plate, glass and butter server. definately the place for knowledgeable scotch and whiskey service. what a treat!

best steak you will ever eat!!. if you haven't seen the newly refurbished churchill's steakhouse, it is a must see. the formerrestaurantwas very nice but the new, improved, decor is much more comfortable, chic and warm. then there is the eats - the filet mignon with a pat of herb butter on top melts in your mouth - you want to slowly savor each bite. the wedge salad with bleu cheese crumbles is a wonderful complement to the aforementioned melt in your mouth steak. worth every penny.
