cartems is known for using ethically sourced and sustainable local ingredients in their baked goods and they can even deliver them for free by bicycle in some areas vancouver.

before visiting cartems donuterie, i wouldn't have called myself a gourmet donut fan. however, i was in the area and was feeling like grabbing a sweet snack. cartems was rated highly and was nearby so i decided to give them a try. i was delightfully surprised. they had a huge selection of vegan donuts without skimping on any of the flavours. they even had vegan apple fritters. i got three donuts to-go and ate them when i got home. they were all really delicious. i would definitely recommend this place to everyone, especially those who have an aversion to animal products.

i recommend cartems for a truly quality donut. if you have that craving why not make it a quality ingredient choice and enjoy the magic that they create with local ingredients.

i bought a box from the arbutus store, for guests who had come from europe ( to impress them with what i thought to be an exceptional vancouver made product).  the donuts were utterly in-eatable, stale, hard,  at least 3 days old. we wound up  throwing them out....an absolute embarrassment. did not expect this....really disappointed and will not be buying ever again...

pretty good doughnuts - lots of fun, innovative flavours that aren't simply gimmicky. imo lucky's is the best doughnut shop in vancouver but! lucky's is good for doughnuts that are fruity and have fillings. cartems is really good at getting their dough just right. their dough is more flavourful so if you're not into doughnuts with fillings, this is your place 🍩✨❤

traditional yet not traditional skinny donuts but oh so delicious. loved the unique variety they had. nice relaxed sit down atmosphere. can't wait to go try some more next time.

london fog stuffie = the best donut we’ve ever had! nice tea flavour & the glaze was very tasty. latte was watery though. just have another donut instead. (4/5)

very nice donuts. however, the prices are on the higher end. the people serving me were extremely courteous and kind and i really enjoyed the service their. i also liked the fact that the place was quite big and spacious, giving customers a very comfortable feel. i ordered two earl grey donuts and a smoke maple walnut flavoured one. both were delicious!

this is really convenient location and i've heard a lot of good things from people around me. personally, i have been a few times and would definitely suggest this place to the adventurous donut eater. i personally do not like the exotic flavors that they carry and i think that their donuts are a bit on the dry side. but i think that this is honestly because i prefer a very sweet and classic donut (or anything just chocolate).

i’m honestly not a big sweets person but wanted to give this place a shot as reviews were good and it was in the area. walking in, it was a chill place and would be great for a coffee date. super nice staff, helped me make my choice which was great! the donut was good! not super sweet, a nice balanced flavour throughout each bite. worth a try.

just walked downhill forever, in high heeled boots to get most definitely the best doughnut i’ve ever had.
an earl grey and rose petal creation. silky and shiny on the outside with rose petal pieces sprinkled on it and inside moist ( i know some people hate that word but it was moist) and cakey inside and it actually tasted of earl grey.
it closes at 8pm, can’t wait to drag my hubby there later to get one for him too.( he’s a cop, it’s what they eat ! right?)
must say the guy behind the counter wasn’t that friendly, a bit standoffish but the doughnut made up for that, i forgive him, maybe he just wants to keep them all for himself!

cheery service (is everyone in canada this happy?!) great music and you can smell the wood of the table tops inside.

move over dunkin' cos i have a new all-time favorite doughnut!!! cartems are soft, fluffy risen doughnuts with the best toppings ever. i grabbed the hb&j and the smoked maple walnut. the peanut butter and jelly was yum but the smokiness of the walnut was amazing.

i really want to try all of them but there's enough time, not enough stomach space and i don't want to get diabetes on day one of my trip! bonus points because the place is a pokestop!
