canteen 18 is my fav place to enjoy a coffee & a sandwich at any time of the day and catch up with friends. its centrally located with good parking.

the unique styling n feel reminds me of cafes abroad. the hosts are friendly & the food is very good! i highly recommend this place.

do not miss out on this . everything about this place is amazing. its a small cafe in a corner of a peaceful street. but its smallness adds to the beauty. the ambience, the humble guys running this place, and ofcourse the remarkable taste of all dishes here made my trip to pondy memorable. i am personally very picky about food, and the mozerella pesto sandwich here had my pupils dilated :-)

canteen 18 is a little breath of fresh air in the busy pondicherry city life. just stop by order yourself an artisan coffee and grab a snack created by the owner himself. you can tell that the food is prepared with love and the joy for creating awesome delights. canteen 18 gets 5 big stars from me for being my lunch place for the month i stayed in pondy

a perfect break in the city. on a corner of a street, canteen 18 make surely the best sandwiches in town. burgers, pizza, grilled sandwiches, everything is prepared with fresh products in front of you. the staff, and the owners are more than lovely, and their italian made coffee and homemade ice tea  are really good and can make you stay the whole afternoon. tips : if you take a sandwich, ask for the homemade aïoli sauce.
