i have heard a lot about the place for their burgers and wanted to try it out. the place wasn't difficult to find and seemed like a house turned into cafe , located in first and second floor. the walls and decors are so unique and retro. the food is served in trays.
the latte was good and aromatic. the cold coffee was really good.
the burgers we took were miami chickenburgerand classic veg burger. the miamiburgerwas so damn good and juicy and filling. they had options of single patty or double patty. the classic vegburgerhas barbecue smokey flavour which i didn't prefer. they give mad angles with burgers.

hands down one of the bestburgerplaces in town. we had the texasburgerand the miami burger. the patty was juicy and succulent. served alongside corn chips it was perfect.
the miamiburgerhad a sauce which was a bit too sweet for my liking.
but overalls it was a good experience.

i love the retro ambience at canteen 18. the jazz music really sets the mood . i tried the miamiburgertoday which is the latest addition to their menu and i specially liked the subtle flavours and the fact that it comes with a flattened bun and a extra big patty 😊

wow what a place this is, while i was on trip to puducherry tried theirburger
i ordered miamiburgerand cold coffee and i must say that both were just awesome in taste.
theburgerwas so juicy, crisp and tasted really well.
cold coffee was so good that i ordered it twice

a must visit place for all theburgerlovers out there🍔
a quaint little place perfect for a tete a tete.
the doublepatty burgers are a must try 😋 good portion for the money you pay..
just felt that there could be more options for drinks as well.

worst packing ever. i ordered 2 burgers and 2 milkshakes and a french fry. the drinks weren't sealed at all. both the drinks spilled in the package. on top of that bothburgerand french fries were not packed properly. the drinks spoiled everything. the food was priced very high that normal and this is what we get. we wasted 1165 rupees for nothing. never ordering here again.

hands down, one of the best burgers i have ever tasted. the vibe of this quaint cafe is unbeatable. it gives such a cozy jazz cafe vibe with lovely decor, pleasant jazz music in the background, and it's a must visitburgerplace in pondy, without a doubt. food coma is guaranteed after having their chicken and beef burger. cheers to the person who curated this quality menu.

cajun and new york burgers are highly recommended for people who like spicy sauces.

the best thing about theburgeris their quality of buns (ohh so soft and crisp!), how much loaded they are, the perfect blend of sauces, melted cheese and veggies on top of the patty. definitely worth every rupee spent.

also special mention to their crispy fries with a dip.

this (july 2021) is the second time i am visiting the cafe after my very first visit in march 2020. safe to say, i will be coming back every time i visit pondy. :")

the place is spacious enough to accommodate a small crowd.
however, the ambiance is dour and the lone staff attending tables doesn't help much either.
the food is good enough, theburgerand hot dog were pretty enjoyable.

in puducherry and craving good burgers? look no further, canteen18 is a place meant forburgerenthusiasts, specifically meat eaters! this is aburgercafe that tries to cater to all kinds of clientele but truly manages to impress the "carnivore". beef lovers are only a few burgers away from achieving nirvana here in this jazzy/new orleans styled cafe. the meat used is of top quality, cooked well and is perfectly seasoned. i ordered the "nothing" burger. nice name, considering it had "everything". my only disappointment is that i ordered merely one burger. it can be filling but it is so well made it makes you crave another for the next meal. looking forward to more.

the burgers were filling, tasty and unlike the simple burgers you get otherwise. you could see that eachburgerhad its own taste and they can customize for you as well. the menu is full of varieties and for a moment you'd want to try it all.
really, really loved the ambience of the place. truely gave a relaxed cafe feeling where one could spend hours.
the only thing i wasn't fascinated by was the nachos they give along with the burgers, which were not good and seemed right out of a packet.
but then, that doesn't affect the burgers and the experience.
and, the staff, though only 2 people are nice and welcoming.

this small place in heritage town was cosy and comfortable, and had the best food. with a limited menu, they make amazing burgers with different meat options and toppings. we had the cajun beefburgerand a simple hotdog. oneburgeris quite large and sufficient to serve two, and is very affordable. the patty is juicy, the toppings all fresh and these melt into a great overall burger. this place deserves the hype and is definitely a must try.

i was pleasantly surprised by the variety of burgers that they have here and they are distinctly different from one another unlike other places. the portions are satisfying and the service is great. very warm people and the staff is excellent they always wear a smile. i noticed that the women consist  75 to 80 % of the workforce here, which is really lovely " women empowerment ! ". the selective jazz music playing in the background shows the detail they have worked on. canteen 18 is an experience that you want to relive again and again. you guys doing a great job, keep it up.
suggestion : lets us know when a newburgeris born :)

less crowded place with slow music and nice ambience. good place to hangout.

new yorkburgercombined with ice tea is quite good.
service was quite fast as well

suggestion to canteen18: need to wait for ice tea to get cold. please try to serve it cold

ordered aburgerand a hot dog. both were half decent but smothered in sauce that completely covered up any actual flavor of the meat. the milkshake was as advertised just skim milk that had been shaken. place is a tiny room nothing to write home about. pictures in the reviews have just been really well taken.
