one of the bestmexicanfusion restaurants in seattle. the squash enchiladas are a must. there are many tasty items and the atmosphere is nice, especially on warm days when you can sit outside.

sage cocktail was light and refreshing.mexicancorn had a great smokey flavor and the brisket burrito was enough for 3. follow it all up with a family secret recipe for the best flan imaginable. all so very good. thank you maria & courtney for making it seem like a special occasion!!

if its a quick drink after work, or some amazingmexicanfood, this is a great place to be. the pizza is made in a wood fire oven for the authentic feel and the chilli poppers are amazing.

if it's a night out with friends, or just to satisfy your craving for goodmexicancuisine, this is the spot.
the service is great, can accommodate large tables without any trouble.  food comes out quick, never had ordering issues, everything on the menu is good, often it is hard to decide what i feel like!  poppers are to die for and the pizza is just delicious.
mix in a few beers or cocktails and you have a dinning experience to remember.

cactus is the best place i have ever been too!

staff: the most friendly and down to earth amazing people. the service is fast (even in peak season) and orders are always correct!

atmosphere: cactus is a family- friendlymexicanand pizza restaurant during the day and early evening, and then turns into an older scene with music in the evenings. it caters for all needs and has such a friendly, and vibey atmosphere.

food: the food is outstanding! the best pizzas i have ever eaten in my entire life! and the best part is the kitchen stays open really late! really though you need to try these pizzas! and the chilli poppers- o.m.g to die for!

drinks: drinks are reasonably priced, they have such a wide ranger of everything! whether you are stopping for one drink, or 20 shooters this is the place.

this is my all time favourite place! you have to go there!!

what a wonderful find!. been looking in seattle for a "go to" spot formexicanthat matches our favorite portland spot, "por que no". saw the reviews and menu and thought this may just work. well we weren't disappointed. arrived around the brunch hour on superbowl sunday and there wasn't a whole lot going on, so had full attention from the staff. we had quesadilla, egg burrito and a chicken chop salad. i love the blend of different flavours, everything was done so well. they accommodated all my special requests for the salad. only one comment, the addition of bacon to the chicken quesadilla just doesn't work, so if you're considering ordering one with "skip the bacon", that would be the right choice. our server was so friendly and they treated us to dessert being first timers (and out of town tourists!). the flan is delish. the neighborhood is reminiscent of a cali coastal town. can't wait to go back when the weather is nice, this will be a good spot.

i wish i didn't live 3000 miles away.. every time i return to seattle, this is a must stop restaurant on my list. years ago, friends introduced me to this popular kirkland restaurant and my taste buds immediately fell in love! a truly unique and fresh take onmexicancuisine. this is where i tried my first 'mojito' and no other place has been able to match it. the house specialty, 'butternut squash enchiladas' are a must!!! (if i was on death row...this would be my last meal.) despite the busy atmosphere, i have always received prompt and friendly service. bartender's are very knowledgeable and are happy to answer any questions you may have.

i love you cactus. my wife and i were actually headed back to cafe harleqiun in kirkland one night last spring, but alas the beautiful but always seeminly empty restaurant had since shut down. while it was not really a surprise, we sure do miss it. on our way back to the car we walked by twomexicanrestaurants. one had no wait and about 12 open tables, one had one table in the bar and a 20 minute wait in the dining room. no brainer right, we stole the table at the bar and had one of the best nights out all year. i started with an iced tea, and while you might say all restaurant iced tea is the same, you are wrong. its some kind of tropical passion fruit delicious. the attitude of everyone from hostess to bartender to john (yeah, we were on a first name basis with our chips and salsa guy) were top notch. the food is a wonderful combination of local, mexicanand southwestern. try the stuffed jalapenoes, but make sure youve got a couple glasses of water before you dive in. the tostadas on the indian fry bread are absolutely amazing as was the rest of the meal. and its been the same every time. they don't skip a beat at cactus. rip cafe harleqiun but long live the cactus!
